We’re sorry to read your review, especially as it does not reflect the actual timeline or level of service provided. Your order was placed on May 10th with express delivery, and while there was a brief delay, we kept you informed throughout — including via email, WhatsApp messages, and a follow-up phone call. 

In recognition of the delay, we also offered you an upgraded item at no additional cost which you turned down and opted to wait for the item originally ordered. The fulfilment time and shipping updates were clearly relayed to you by email, and the parcel was delivered on May 29th as confirmed by our records.

We’re disappointed that you’ve chosen to post a public review that doesn’t accurately reflect the full situation, despite our efforts to communicate and resolve things directly. That said, if there’s anything more we can do, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

We're genuinely sorry to hear about your experience and completely understand your frustration.

We want to clarify that we are absolutely not a scam – we are a small, dedicated business that works hard to serve our customers. In your case, we’ve been unable to move forward with sending your trolley or issuing a refund because a chargeback was opened via your bank. This puts the matter into the hands of your payment provider, and unfortunately prevents us from processing anything further on our end until that case is resolved.

We have tried to reach you multiple times and have responded to your bank with the required documentation (which we are happy to share with you directly as well). We remain more than willing to resolve this for you – whether that means sending the trolley or arranging a refund – but we do need to speak with you to move forward.

Please call us directly on 0208 050 2533 and ask for one of the team. We’re here to help and genuinely want to resolve this for you as quickly as possible.

We understand your frustration and are genuinely sorry for the delays and the lack of timely communication you experienced. We’d like to clarify that we did speak with you directly, and you acknowledged that the original review was written in haste. While we appreciate your updated comments, we were a little disappointed that this forum was used before giving us the opportunity to fully address the situation.

As we explained, there was an unexpected uplift in enquiries during that time, which unfortunately impacted our response times. Given the circumstances and your request for a refund rather than continued delays, we agreed that a full refund would be the most appropriate resolution—and this was actioned accordingly.

We are a small, independent business, and suggestions that we are a scam company are not only untrue, but can be deeply damaging to our reputation and ongoing operations. We ask that this be taken into consideration when sharing public feedback, and we hope you can appreciate the impact such statements can have.

That said, we fully acknowledge that the delay from your original order date in January until now is far longer than acceptable, and we deeply regret the impact this has had. We're genuinely sorry to read this and to hear how let down you feel — please know this was never our intention, and we understand how incredibly frustrating your experience must have been.

We want to start by apologising sincerely for the delays and the confusion around your order. While your refund has now been processed in full, which we're glad to hear, we completely acknowledge that it should never have reached that point.

The delay in dispatch was due to a supplier issue with the basin taps, and we deeply regret the time it took to resolve. We did try to keep you informed along the way — including phone conversations and email updates — but we absolutely recognise that repeated delays and inconsistent communication led to a loss of trust, and for that, we are truly sorry.

To be clear, Aura is not a scam — we are a genuine business, and we care about our customers and their experience. That said, we clearly let you down in this instance, and we’re taking your feedback seriously to improve how we manage stock issues and customer communication moving forward.

Your order placed on 20th March was indeed affected by an unexpected supply delay, and we sincerely apologise that this wasn’t clearly communicated to you. We’ve looked into your messages and can see you’ve reached out several times — and while we did intend to reply across our channels, it’s clear we didn’t respond quickly or effectively enough. That’s not acceptable, and we're actively reviewing how we handle communication during stock delays to prevent this from happening again.
