Probably the best driving school in Kinna
Asplund's Driving School (in Swedish, Asplunds Trafikskola) was the school I chose at the first place when I decided myself to get a driving license. Driving schools that join the Swedish National Association of Driving Schools are said to be the best driving schools, giving the best quality on the driving education. In Sweden there are many driving schools, but also too many unauthorized driving schools. In order to be sure I don't happen to start my driving education at an unauthorized driving school, one thing to look for is to make sure the driving school is in the Swedish National Association of Driving Schools. While there are three driving schools across the city of Kinna, only one of them is in that association, that's Asplund's Driving School.
My driving education took around three months. I started this one in August. While theory lessons were common for about 15 years ago, today the vast majority of them have been replaced by an online driving school. Teachers spend less time on theory lessons, giving them more time to do the practical education and instruct their students. The only theory lessons that are impossible to replace by the online driving school are in the education about risks with driving, whether you want to drive a motorbike or a car. In order to do the driving test, which is necessary to get a driving license, you have to do the education about the risks first. The only theory lessons they have now are about the risks while driving, explaining not to drive while tired, intoxicated or posing any major risk in the traffic. This is the first part that has to be done in the driving school. The second part, which is about speeds and slippery, is the practical part of the education about the risks, and this also has to be done prior to the driving test. This one is done by their students in Gothenburg.
During the first week of my driving education, I ran through all the theory that was available on the online driving school. The theory was easy for me, not very surprising as I had quite a lot of knowledge about traffic prior to starting the driving education. I was about eight years old when I was reading a book about driving car in traffic, what traffic rules that apply in certain situations and so on, for the first time. That book that I was reading then was about Polish traffic rules, which may differ a little from the Swedish traffic rules. I was a teenager, even younger than 15 years old, when I got a book about Swedish traffic rules, so I had the required knowledge a long time prior to starting this education.
Now if you decide to get a driving license in Sweden, you can learn to drive a car already at the age of 16 years. To do the driving test and get the license, you must be 18 years. Starting the education just before turning 30 years meant that I could do it all fast from start to the end of the education, I could get the driving license quite immediately after starting the driving education. After running through all the theory on my online driving school, I started to learn to drive. I made it within 16 driving lessons. Once I was about to do the driving test, I had to do two more lessons, which are included in the total of 16 driving lessons.
At the driving test, I passed the theory test in October. After passing the theory test, I was about to do the driving test six days later. Hoping to make it on this driving test, unfortunately I failed. After failing on the first driving test, the next driving test was booked in December for me. But almost two weeks after failing on the first driving test, a teacher from the driving school called and told me that they found an earlier time for the driving test. I hesitated at first, but after some talking on the phone, after the teacher encouraged me, I agreed. Instead of doing the driving test in December, I was about to do it at 28 November.
Teachers working at Asplund's Driving School are very nice to their students, patient even when their students make some mistakes, especially if those mistakes aren't too big, and they notice when their students need a little more encouragement to keep going until they finish their driving education. After failing on my first driving test, the next driving test was planned to be done in December, but the teachers have encouraged me to do it at 28 November already. Their encouragement turned me from hesitant to determined, and I agreed to do the second driving test at 28 November. Now imagine that when I was about to finish the second driving test, I said the following words to the driving examiner: “Now I failed the driving test again!” Not knowing whether I failed or passed, it turned out that I passed, and I became quite crazy in my happiness of passing this one! Now I have the driving license. I would recommend Asplund's Driving School to everyone.
