I wanted to leave a review for Ask Paul because the support I’ve received has been genuinely excellent.

I’ve had positive dealings with different parts of the business, including Rebecca Kennedy on the investment side, who was incredibly helpful in supporting me with my pension and making that whole area feel far less overwhelming.

But Gareth was the real shining star for me throughout my home-buying journey. Buying a home felt daunting, especially when it came to committing so much of my hard-earned savings, and there were times I genuinely questioned whether I was making the right decision or whether I could really afford it.

Gareth was consistently patient, knowledgeable, and incredibly supportive throughout the process. He took the time to explain everything clearly, helped me understand what was possible, and gave me confidence when I really needed reassurance. Even the small things — checking in with supportive texts and keeping me updated — made such a difference during what can be a very stressful process.

Looking back now, sitting in my home, I’m incredibly grateful for his guidance and support. I honestly don’t think I’d be here without his help.

Since then, I’ve referred at least a dozen people to Ask Paul, all of whom have also had really positive experiences — at this stage, if there were a referral scheme, I’d probably be winning it 😄

Brilliant service from Lisa and Stephen. Lisa was amazing from start to finish on all aspects of our mortgage journey. As first time buyers, she was supporting us in areas we were unsure off, and amazing timelines to get mortgage approved and secure the best rates with relevant banks.
