Something I didn’t even know we needed, but now feels so important art gallery in…
I work at a local art gallery in Chamberí, Madrid, and I’m currently using Stamp as a merchant.
What I like most is that it feels like they are actually thinking about loca retailers and our customers. In a small shop, the relationship with customers is really important to me. I want people to feel that they are getting something of value when they buy from us.
Being able to offer customers a discount without having to take that cost out of my own margin is really helpful, especially now when everything is getting more expensive for everybody.
I also think the idea behind the Stamp makes a lot of sense. From the customer side, I do think there needs to be more clarity about how much they are actually going to get back. It makes no sense that my customers don't know how much they'll get back until they do their refunds, and that it then turns out to be less than half of what they expected. That is why never paying for it it's just genius to me.
I see every day how much customers appreciate a good deal, especially in a small independent shop. So for me, anything that benefits my customers while still making sense for us is worth exploring.
I’m happy to be part of it and I really like seeing more attention being given to independent retail and the customer experience.
