I attended the Asian Single Solution event on Friday and it was good fun. Well organised and the hosts were friendly and helpful, introduced me to some guys, which helped my nerves as I came on my own. I would recommend it to the singles out there

Attended a Single's event over the weekend. Upon arrival the hosts were friendly, which put me at ease straightaway as I'd turned up alone. The speed-dating was a little hit or miss. I attended the Asian Single Solution event on the weekend and thought it was really well organised. The hosts were friendly, they had these cool ice-breaker games and speed dating was fun. I'd personally recommend trying them.

Thank you for your feedback. Our event ran for 4 hours and you were offered icebreakers and hosting staff to help you mix freely with everyone in the room. The speed dating is intended to be a quick introduction, it is an optional activity within the main event but runs for 3 to 4 minutes per person which is standard for speed dating. You are able to continue your chats afterwards if you both wish to.
The structure ensures you met more people than you would have staying at home. If you were struggling to connect with guests outside your timeslot, our hosts were on hand all night to make personal introductions for you.
Please contact us directly so we can discuss your evening further and please consider amending your review to reflect the three hours of opportunities you had to meet a further 30 girls, in addition to the speed dating round and at least 6 girls you met during speed dating, that you would not have met, if you had not attended.

Friendly hosts and good mix of attendee's. Upon arrival i was greeted really well, felt at ease. Lots of little ice breaker type tasks to help the crowd mingle. Everyone looked to be having a good time and definely met people I don't think i would've had it been for this event!

Also, to help smooth out the matching process, it might be great to give the male attendees a list of the women, and vice versa. Attendees could simply highlight their top choices on their sheets and hand them back to you at the end of the night. It would make it much easier for the organizers to spot the mutual connections and send out the matches!

The pub smelt, the men got rowdier as they drank!
The women just sat there.
It did not feel like a singles event. It felt very cheap. The crowd was mismatched with ages and occupation and to be honest when I spoke to people, a lot of them felt lost and disappointed with the event.

Hi Tara, sorry you didn’t enjoy the night. Organising an event for 80 people in Birmingham requires significant effort, including bringing our team up from London and securing a venue exclusively for the event.
This was a busy social mixer with structured speed dating. We do not claim that it is for a specific profession and not everyone will find matches.
Our events are designed for regular attendance as part of an ongoing journey to find the right person. In dating, disappointment is often part of the process until you find the right person. The key is to try and enjoy the experience along the way and make new friends too.
The vast majority of guests gave us positive feedback and the mere achievement of getting 80 guests means that you had the opportunity to make new connections and to participate as much as anyone else. Whilst accepting this event, was not to your taste, a 1-star review feels disproportionate to the scale and service provided and you have said nothing positive.
If you have feedback or venue suggestions we would generally recommend that you speak to us during the event or contact us directly. It is unclear what this review aims to achieve other than harming future events that others may enjoy. Please reflect on this and consider amending it.

I would rather go to other free networking events where you are atleast seen and respected .
Very disappointing experiences.
I think some ice breaker sessions might help but again these are grown up adults, not here to be spoon fed..
