The Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi is the arguably the finest non-profit organization in the country today for Fine Arts and Performing Arts. With state of the art facilities made available to all segments of society, Arts Council aims to promote peace and artistic professionalism through its various in-house fine arts, theater, dance and music academies, literary conferences, artistic endeavors, and progressive events and competitive talent showcases. As Pakistan’s first established organization dedicated to supporting the Arts since 1954, Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi has brought together the finest social justice and human rights activists, artists of extraordinary caliber, and the most diverse performers that have put Pakistan on the global map of fame over the past six decades. Not only does our organization host more than 500 events a year, it also enthusiastically supports movements like women empowerment and artistic freedom, addresses social justice issues and has successfully established several socio-cultural educational initiatives for the country’s youth. Moreover, art lovers receive full exposure here to a series of formal and informal concerts at our open-air theater, amphitheaters, proscenium halls, sound recording and film studios, equipped with the finest infrastructure, conferences, galleries, libraries and literary publications. Apart from a dedicated mission to partake, host, fund and organize holistic cultural activities, Arts Council Karachi has taken on the responsibility to educate individuals in Fine Arts, Music, Dance and Theatre under the banner of three different academies namely Arts Council Institute of Arts and Crafts (ACIAC), Arts Council Music Academy (ACMA), and Arts Council Theater & Dance Academy (ACTDA).
