Not all matcha is created equal. Ours is ceremonial grade, produced by Oyaizu Tea in Shizuoka, Japan - a producer with one focus: consistency of flavour, batch after batch. Tencha leaves sourced from Shizuoka, Kagoshima, and other leading Japanese growing regions, combined with precision to deliver the same deep, vivid green and rich, rounded flavour every time. Smooth enough to drink straight. Bold enough to hold its own against oat milk. Every order includes a free tin - keep it, gift it, or use it to store your pouch. A great little product and my first introduction to matcha. There is a strong grassy smell and taste to this product, which is a characteristic of matcha, but the actual quality of the product is well worth the price paid. You know what you are going to get from Artisan, I have been using them for a while now and have never been disappointed, everything is of a good quality from the packaging through to the product itself. I indulged and requested the tin that was offered and I am glad as I can store my matcha separately from my other tea and coffee. Really impressed with this.
