I took a course with Ardent Training and found it very useful. The lessons were clear and easy to follow, and the instructors were knowledgeable. Overall, a positive experience.

The quality of the material, the ability to do self-pace study but at the same time have super quick direct feedback if needed, the availability and kindness of the team for any question, the speed of answering and correcting the exam... All in all 100%, this is an example of how a professional (and passionate) service should be provided.

The whole course is broken down into manageable modules with good illustration and explanation.

The online support is with quick response and very helpful.

Training with Ardent is educational as well as fun. E- modules are user friendly and can be revised often.
Support with instant messaging, emails, problems solving and checking on your understanding is part of this package. Remember to opt out temporarily if not using due to other commitments, this allows to extend the pre specified learning period.

Just completed my Day Skipper Theory. I really enjoyed the course and its presentation. The team are very helpful, and I always had a very prompt response to any query I had, usually within a couple of minutes. The modules are well laid out and presented, and the module tests, at the end of each section, help to embed the knowledge gained. I really enjoyed the group zoom meetings which were fun, interesting and helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend the company to anyone wishing to gain this qualification.

Great easy to understand materials and whenever I have a question instructors are always helpful and respond quickly.

Simply better than anything else.
The people at the Ardent team are obviously passionate and capable sailors, but are also extremely gifted for online audiovisual.
The lessons and varied, stimulating and with the right balance between depth of content and delivery lightheartedness.

I studied at my own pace but consulted them frequently via email and chat and they always amazed me for their responsiveness (even when I was writing from a different time zone).
I prepared for my YM theory with a friend who used a different provider, and she regretted not choosing Ardent’s quality from the start.
Definitely the best choice you can make in this field.

Superb quality lessons and support. I completed the Day Skipper Theory over 3 weeks, a nice gentle pace. You could certainly do it faster or slower. The mock exam is a good preparation for the real thing. If I go on to higher levels, I will choose Ardent without question.

I just completed my Yachtmaster offshore with Ardent.
I did the theory online whilst working overseas. The material and instruction was very good. All my queries were answered within minutes during UK hours. The team are super friendly and offer great feedback. I learnt a lot which also helped me during the practical exam that I did following on from the theory.
I definitely recommend to use Ardent.

Feedback for Ardent.

I have completed the Yacht Master Theory course with Ardent. I had a false start with a competitor course, where I found I was struggling so much with the lack of continuity that I decided to re-invest with Ardent. I'm glad I did because the difference was night and day. The Ardent team have taken time and effort to streamline the teaching so that every tutorial naturally leads to the next. Unlike with the first course I tried, I never had to search YouTube to fill the expected knowledge gaps. The Ardent video format, filmed at sea, maintains the context and sustains interest. My only comment is that there are a few too many ums and ahs in a minority of the videos. I particularly appreciated the ever-present online support from friendly, enthusiastic, experienced sailors. No chatbots here, it's the real deal-sailors who have experienced the wilds of the sea and know what they are talking about! A note for those thinking about taking the course: it is time-consuming and not a course you can do on a now-and-again basis. I tried that. It didn't work. In the end, I prioritised it over everything else and surprised myself with how much I have learned. And more importantly, by how much knowledge has gone into my long-term memory! Thank you, team Ardent. I really appreciate it.

I recently completed online training with Ardent and was very impressed with every aspect of the course. The app worked well on both a laptop and a tablet. The course material was broken down into manageable chunks and the tracker keeps you up to date on your progress. When I had questions, I'd receive a comprehensive reply within 20 minutes. A first-class product from a first-class team, I'd recommend Ardent wholeheartedly.

Great experience learning online at my own pace, every topic is covered in great detail with videos taking you through every step along the way. Plenty of questions to test your new knowledge with and the mock exam really helps you to prepare for your final exam. Responses from Ardent are quick but still contain plenty of detail to explain where you might be going wrong. I would definitely recommend them to anybody who is interested in learning to sail.

I was looking for a DaySkipper Theoretical course and found Ardent the best overall. Bit more expensive than others but the videos and also the very rapid response if you have a question surely make the difference .

They are all very experienced and competent instructors / examiners. Very helpful which helped me because I am a beginner what sailing is concerned
