Terrible customer service (Australia)
Having purchased the Aqara Smart Lock U300 direct from Aqara (in Australia) I was unfortunate to discover just before installation that the lock handle sticks out quite a way. This meant that it was unable to fit in our door behind our existing metal security flyscreen door.
Upon realising the lock won't fit, I contacted the Aqara support team (support at aqarastore.com.au) to arrange a return of the product - still in its original pristine condition & packaging. However, they don't want to honour their own returns policy.
I would not recommend purchasing any Aqara products while they are unable to meet even basic consumer support requests.

So my house should be solid secured with zigbee protocol wifi connections , well look:
1- disconnections: every 20-30 minutes I receive a disconnection notifications and when a hub is disconnected it takes down with it other devices especially the M3 because I have assigned it as main hub and got it connected with my tuya and Yale smart locks and SmartThings hub via thread ( matter) but when it goes down it takes everything down with it !
2- inconsistency , tried to set up the cameras to wake up or sleep according to security panel mode … it became a circus they wake up and sleep
As they please !
Also I tried to put cameras on default position… they turn like crazy and everyday in certain position !
Sometimes they trigger alarm , sometimes no alarm … horrible
3- aqara support: most disgusting 🤮
I mean they will respond sure but in an ineffective manner and not useful to customers, you can say they respond for maintaining Google image incase of any legal liability, just to say we are responding but they will pin the problem to your internet company , your house walls obstructing signals , your electricity company providing 50/60 HTS that are not consistent with their God knows what hertz, etc
Finally this product is scum , I will put a link to sell all on eBay for less that 100$ ( cost me nearly 1000)
Also I will put a video showing the disconnection and inconsistent performance of this system )

I like the devices, they actually could work great if the software was coded by competent people. It just isn’t.
They will release updates that break working setups.
You will have to spend your time trying to fight the latest software breaking they introduce. A damn shame.
This company released a Matter Hub M3…
This company released a Matter Hub M3 and advertised this Hub will work as an advanced Matter Bridge. Not really. It is only compatible with its own devices and after sometime it stops working. Documentations is poor as well as support. It sounds almost as if this device is another way for the PRC to get access to your home network and use your home network as springboard to other sites or systems of PRC’s interest. If not, it’s another Chinese crap.
DO NOT PURCHASE AQARA PRODUCTS
All is fine, until something stops working, then you are subjected to a support system which only sends 1 response per day, before eventually doing nothing to resolve terminal issues with their product. I wasted $400 on a U200 door lock that stopped working after 9 months & after giving me the 'run-around' for a few weeks, the Aqara support team couldn't care less & just stopped responding
Rigtig dårlig oplevelse med Aqara U200 dørlås og elendig kundeservice
Jeg har desværre haft en meget dårlig oplevelse med Aqara og deres kundeservice ifm. min Aqara U200 dørlås.
Allerede fra april måned oplevede jeg fejl og defekt funktion på låsen. Jeg har siden da været i kontakt med Aqara kundeservice hele 5 gange, sendt video-dokumentation, logfiler og detaljeret beskrivelse af problemet.
På trods af dette er der endnu ikke kommet en løsning — det eneste jeg har fået retur, er modstridende beskeder og manglende klarhed om, hvordan jeg kan returnere produktet. Selv den butik, hvor jeg købte låsen, har givet mig forskellige informationer om, hvordan jeg skal forholde mig.
I mellemtiden har jeg altså stået med en defekt dørlås i flere måneder — et produkt der burde være pålideligt, når det handler om hjemmets sikkerhed.
Alt i alt er dette en meget skuffende oplevelse. Både selve produktet og den mangelfulde og ineffektive kundeservice gør, at jeg absolut ikke kan anbefale Aqara til andre.
Aqara smoke detector
I have an Aqara gen2 hub with multiple genuine aqara sensors connected which work OK. Now the genuine aqara smoke detector us a different matter. It disconnects continually throughout the day for no apparent reason. Customer service were little or NO help just giving standard switch it on and off, change battery, disconnect from hub then reconnect sort of answers none of which solved the issue. Then the ultimate final response " we are sorry we couldn't fix your problem". Oh well as long as your sorry then that's fine. So be aware if something doesn't work right your on your own.

Machen ein Update 3.0.0_080 und ab da geht nichts mehr .nicht einmal die Aqara NFC Karte wird nicht mehr erkannt . Ich bereue den Kauf schon jetzt. Auch Apple Watch wird seit dem Update nicht mehr erkannt . HÄNDE WEG VOM Aqara Türschloss . Kauf wird nicht empfohlen. Für mich sind das Betrüger . Machen ein Update und danach funktioniert bei keinem mehr das Türschloss . Ich sollte Videos schicken, wie ich das Schloss bediene…?!Die sollten sofort ein neues Update bereitstellen . Absolutely rubbish, do not buy.
After changing broadband provider, the risiculously poorly designed app does not even give an option to search for new networks, and after using the master resent, their own app will not pickup their own equipment, instead providing the most unintelligible, tech code rubbish that means nothing.Multiple “master resets” later, the whole process is no further forward. At over £100 you expect both the apps and equipment to work, and, be easy to use. They are not.

Anfangs war ich sehr zufrieden. Alles lies sich super in Apple Home integrieren und funktioniert einwandfrei. Doch dann hat mich die Aqara App ausgeloggt. Man braucht sie auch nur selten für Updates und Kalibrierungen. Leider war nach dem erneuten Anmelden alles weg. Alle Einstellungen und alle Geräte. Ich kann in Apple immer noch drauf zugreifen, aber das war’s. Keine Updates mehr und kein Kalibrieren. Es sei denn, ich lösche alles aus Apple Home und mache alles neu und hoffe, dass es dann auch ohne Probleme wieder zu Apple Home hinzugefügt werden kann... Habe also den Support geschrieben, der das Problem nicht verstanden hat. Ich habe das Problem zwei Wochen lang immer und immer wieder geschildert und Anleitungen bekommen, die nichts mit dem Problem zu tun hatten, bis sie es endlich verstanden haben und mir gesagt haben, dass es ein technisches Problem auf ihrer Seite ist. Das ist jetzt über zwei Monate her und seit dem keine Antwort mehr vom Support...
Ich habe deswegen die geplanten Erweiterungen für mein Smarthome von anderen Firmen besorgt und werde alles ersetzen, was ich nicht zwingend von dieser Firma brauche.

I purchased roller shutter motors, and they keep breaking after just a few months of use. The customer support is absolutely terrible. They respond only after several days, if at all. I've been stuck in a replacement process with them for over a month now. They refuse to exchange the device and have been claiming for the past two weeks that they will issue a refund—yet nothing has happened so far. Avoid this company!

I called Aqara technical support with a WiFi question, but was told they wouldn’t even speak to me, let alone help me because I had bought the camera from Amazon and not from them directly. Har købt en aqara roller shade driver e1, efter 2 år og en måned stoppede den med at virke. Deg er ingen support fra dem. Kun en dum robot, som ikke virker efter den har sendt første besked
Har også prøvet dør/vindues sensorer og temperatur målerne. Det er det værste bras jeg har været ude for, og jeg har prøvet meget til smart hjemmet.
