I keep getting issues when logging into…
I keep getting issues when logging into the Appyshop app which is annoying. This usually prevents me from ordering as I can't get logged in, it keeps displaying an error message or access denied.
I set up a new account to be able to place an order, some of the items were wrong from the shop, sent alternatives which were of much less value than what I purchased (eg, purchased a multipack chocolate pack at £2.79 and sent 1 single bar instead for much less cost). This happens often and there is no way to report this and when I try contact the shop directly my calls are never answered.
Mixed opinion of both the appyshop app and the shop I ordered from.

Regarding the substitutions, please note that you’ll only ever be charged the price of the item you receive, not the original item you selected. If you’d prefer not to receive alternatives, you can turn this off by selecting “No” under “Allow Sub?” for each item in your basket before placing your order.

Well you now need to spend £75 to get…
Well you now need to spend £75 to get free delivery plus a service charge, bag charges and delivery is now £4 if you don’t spend £75, delivery times are getting worse and worse. Not the same deals as in store as on the app, I pay you to do my shopping, you get paid to pick and deliver and yet you still increase prices. I’m no longer using your stores! Period!
Update as of the 16th April 2025, Sorry but my experience still stands and is still valid, I have taken my weekly business elsewhere. I may look into the legalities of charging less in store than online, your stores are generally in less affluent communities and you’re taking advantage of consumers, as previously stated you get paid extra to pick and pack and extra to deliver! Do better.

They allow fake accounts and don’t respond to complaints
Someone was using my email to buy booze on an account that didn’t exist. Asked them multiple times to shut the account, block orders, etc. Even manually deleted the account and they let that person immediately pop up another fake account on the same email. Absolute joke

A great app for local stores. Shows nearby shops that deliver via the app.
It is a slightly dated app, so there are improvements needed.

Broken glass delivered to my doirstep
Delivered with broken bottles. No way to make direct contact with company only via email. Still waiting for a response. They do not put their telephone number on their website. It’s a shame. I will not be ordering from them again.

Delivery drivers are lovely
Delivery drivers are lovely. Goods not so good rolls hard definately not fresh and wrong goods delivered driver had to come back.not much shelf life sausages up in one day bread up in 2 days. Have used them on and off for a while. But this time not at all happy got goods sat expect to get fresh goods not hard and up next day. Dont think i will use again friends have been asking how good yous are....

Easy to use service
Easy to use service, quick checkout and CJ the delivery guy was really good. There’s only one delivery person I don’t like and IMHO he was/is in the wrong job. His attitude was abhorrent, unlike everyone else.
