Edges Restored After Breakage
Since starting my fitness journey, all the cardio, sweat, and slick back ponytails caused dryness and breakage especially around my hairline. My perimeter was thinning and my hair felt fragile.

I never received my order
I never received my order. The courier said it was delivered, it was not. Lots of emails back and forth to Amyla's customer services, who kept insisting that it was my responsibility to raise a claim from the courier. I quoted the Consumer Rights Act 2015, and they still continued to insist that I should contact the courier, even though it is Amyla's responsibility to do so, and Amyla's responsibility to ensure that I receive my order. They have offered no refund or replacement. All I have received are generic and, quite clearly, template emails from 2 separate people. Nothing personal. So, I am left £59.20 out of pocket, I have nothing to show for it and have been left with no option but to issue a chargeback with my bank.
In response to the reply from Amyla. I will not raise a complaint with the courier. It is not my legal obligation to do so. It is the responsibility of the company I ordered from to ensure I receive my delivery. Please see section 28 of the Consumer Rights Act 2015, and please stop falsely insisting that you cannot do anything about this unless I raise a complaint or claim against the courier company. This order has NOT been delivered to me, regardless of what the courier states. There is no proof, photographic or signature proof, that my order was delivered to me. It was not delivered. I remain £59.20 out of pocket and, legally, I am entitled to a refund or replacement. The complete lack of understanding of the law on Amyla's part is astounding.

We’re truly sorry to hear that you did not receive your parcel — we completely understand how frustrating this situation can be.
However, we would like to clarify that your order was shipped correctly from our side and marked as delivered by the courier, as confirmed by the tracking information. Once a parcel is handed over to the delivery company, the delivery itself is carried out under their responsibility.
We always do our best to assist customers in opening an investigation with the courier, but only the delivery company has the authority to confirm loss, issue compensation, or take action regarding a misdelivery. This is why we asked you to raise the claim with them.
For this reason, we do not feel it is fair to leave a 1-star review about Amyla, as the issue unfortunately lies with the delivery service, not with the shipment of your order from our side. A review directed toward the courier would be more appropriate in this case.
That said, we remain genuinely sorry for the inconvenience caused and we fully understand your frustration with the delivery outcome.

I’m new to Amyla Cosmetics but I took the chance to order a few items during their valentines sale as a result of all the positive comments I was seeing from various women on their Instagram page. I’m waiting on the arrival of my products but wanted to leave a review about their excellent customer service. I don’t have a name for who manages their DM’s but I have to say that they have been SO kind and efficient! They even sorted out things for me that is not usually a part of their role (I thought I hadn’t received my order number but it had gone to the junk folder of another email address). It was completely my error but they were so kind and supportive when I flagged the ‘issue’. Thank you so much to whoever it was that dealt with that ♥️ I can’t wait to receive my products to start my new healthy hair journey again (for the umpteenth time, lol) and I’ll definitely be back again to leave a review about the products! xx

One product for two purposes!!
I use the curl mousse and it's one of the best products I've ever used for frizz control and curl definition. For years, I've looked for a single product to accomplish both of these goals, and have always had to use two products each time I do my hair. My only complaint is that it doesn't stand up well to blow drying.

Regarding blow drying, thank you for pointing that out. The mousse is mainly formulated for air-drying or diffusing to keep curls defined, so direct heat can reduce its performance.
