I ordered and paid for a product to be…
I ordered and paid for a product to be posted to me. Postage was almost the same as the cost of the product. I was sent the wrong product and when I contacted the seller I was told that the product I ordered was out of stock and a substitute was despatched instead without my knowledge or consent. I raised the fact that I would have to pay to return the product I didn’t want, I was sent information on how to return the product without having to pay return postage.In effect, if I didn’t raise this as an issue ie that I would have had to pay postage twice - once for a product I didn’t want and secondly to return the product so I can get a refund I would not have been given the info on return postage. It is on the website under refunds but again I had to ask . I still don’t know why I was able to make payment for the product that was NOT in stock in the first place.
