Package never arrived; Amazon refuses to help

Ordered cat food that never arrived, despite Amazon insisting it was delivered. I contacted An Post directly, and they confirmed the shipment was delayed and not yet at my door. Despite this proof, Amazon customer service refused to contact their own shipping partner or resolve the discrepancy. They simply won't believe the customer or the carrier's own tracking updates. Terrible experience and zero accountability. Avoid.

They errored system over charged me refused to refund or compensate their error absolute robbery incompetence of staff who are dismissive and do not listen to the issue or even bother rectify it left me short on a household bill by overcharging me refused to refund the over charge amount and tried to say credit given on previous occasion was compensation for the present issue absurd scams robbery and unprofessional incompetence all around management are just as unhelpful and dismissive

My order came on time and I was kept informed at all times. Overall I would use amazon.ie again.The only thing I would like is if you could choose that a package could be sent in Amazon packaging rather than paying for gift wrap. It would help with items that are gifts etc.

I am writing to express my extreme frustration regarding the persistent and aggressive behavior of your delivery drivers.

My doorbell is being rung repeatedly and relentlessly at all hours of the day for orders that do not belong to me. It is not my responsibility to act as a private concierge or security guard for your customers.

If a package is not addressed to my residence, your drivers must stop knocking on my door. I strongly suggest you instruct your staff to use their phones to contact the actual customers directly instead of relying on "primitive" methods of communication that disturb the entire neighborhood.

Please take immediate action to ensure this behavior stops. I expect my privacy to be respected moving forward.

The Dark side of Amazon's tardiness

I ordered a pack of Star Wars prequels on DVD and I had a dreadful experience last night with my account saying that it will be delivered. I barely slept last night because of all the stress. Today, to my surprise, DVDs arrived in my postbox. I'm looking forward to a reappraisal of episodes 1 to 111.

Twice I ordered 2 items and they could not sell.

Twice I ordered 2 items. And I pay from my visa twice let me down.
I ordered a dog buggy the money was refunded back to me, then I ordered a tiny electric brush now order cannot be placed and I got a refund of €205. Like if stuff is not available in Ireland why can they not just put of the page instead of taking your money and tell you item is dispatched then your not going to get it. I ordered a power bank on Amazon Ireland and it could only be posted to England. Like this ridiculous absolutely fed up with this company. And I went to order bingo dabbers and the postage was the price of the dabbers.

Consistent late delivery of orders

I have ordered two items in separate orders in the last month. First order took almost 3 weeks to arrive. The second order I am currently awaiting delivery of course late again. What amazon do not seem to realize - I ordered the items from them, they take no responsibility what soever and there is no means of contacting them. Suffice to say I am considering deleting my account with them.

Refuse to refund broken item

Have been paying prime for years and was very happy with Amazon in Germany.
Completely different story in Ireland. Late or no delivery at all on several occasions. Now one item arrived completely broken. OK, hairband. AnPost return label provided by Amazon. Went to AnPost they refused to take the package as it is more than 20kg. Amazon now says i have to ship the package myself back to the UK and may get a refund.
I ordered on .ie. the carriers explicitly say they're service is not for Amazon returns. So basically impossible to return.
Amazon just says that's the only option and they won't replace the broken item or refund.

box ripped apart

box ripped apart. if customs opened it, they'd reseal it. so at some point in this packages journey it's non tamper seal was ripped and the box destroyed by mishandling. items inside the box were private yet clearly visible. if anyone had wanted to remove something from the box they easily could have. my advice would be dont order personal items from this company. the handling is a joke. pay for prime get subpar service

Absolutely disgusted

Absolutely disgusted. First time ordering, I received parcel early with 2 items stated on the box but 1 item missing. Waited the 48 hours as informed, in fact 72 hours and still no item. As I said it was my first time ordering and it will certainly be my last. If I could give zero stars I would. Very very annoyed 😠.

Delivery always late…

Hate the way you order for a specific date, to go on the site looking for your product to see where it is and the delivery has been rescheduled. You’re paying extra to have it delivered on time!!! Never using them again. It’s happening too often. More reliable out there thank you

Terrible experience 1st order....

1st order with Amazon.ie box came half broken,one of my products was not the one I ordered ,it is near to impossible to speak to someone,luckily I did she couldn't see what went wrong despite telling her it's not what I ordered ,then I asked for email to send a picture she said something faintly and when I asked her to repeat she basically hang up ,the delivery took a week despite being in Ireland, appalling the way costumers are treated ,I have for years used amazon.uk and have never had any issues ,I will only shop from now on from amazon.uk and never from amazon.ie

Dreadful customer service

Dreadful customer service. The start chatting button just brings up a myriad of adverts. Bought a Kenwood Food Processor in October. Only used it 3 times and it stopped working. Managed to contact Amazon twice only for them to tell me the same thing each time that the seller is no longer with Amazon and no further details. My initial contact with them was good! AI generated responses that gave me the impression that if I couldn't contact the seller that they would organise a refund. But now I can't even contact Amazon!!

Amazon.ie is awful

Amazon.ie is awful. When you search an item, all you get are cheap sponsored dupes of what you're looking for.
Shipping is also really slow, it shouldn't take over a week for a skincare item

Appalling customer services not one UK or IRE person to chat to, all florigens who have no clue, can bearly understand English! No empathy. Charged me twice from prime after I cancelled & lied to me about it!

Simply not fit for purpose

Simply cannot understand how they have messed this up so badly, with very few exceptions items are more expensive then ordering from the UK site and will take longer to deliver, that's if they even list the items in the first place. I check back periodically and it doesn't change, can't find the majority of the items I can find on the UK site and when found it's slower and more expensive, why bother?
