I had called Amazing Dolar for a battery. But I was I formed that a battery would be unnecessary expense as my bills already too low. You seldom get such honest advise. I had installed their solar panels at my previous address and have been very happy with them which was whyI contacted them for a battery for my new place. Will recommend them to anyone who wants their Solar installed. Thanks Ben for all your help.

Signed up with Amazing Solar for panels and batteries in mid February 2026 taking advantage of the Federal Government battery rebate ending 1st May.
I was assured they would be able to install well before the deadline - in 2 or 3 weeks.
As I didn’t qualify for Victorian Government we are all set to go.
Installation was to be early March.. then mid March… then 23 or 26 March - firm date… then early April.
I was in constant contact “when are you going to do the installation?” Always assured that they would call me back.. but never a response.
Then end of first week in April, the day after I chased them, yet again, Amazing Solar send an email to say as not yet installed and due to changes to the Federal Government rebate on 1 May they will reprice the system - resulting in a significant price increase.
Not only would I recommend AGAINST using Amazing Solar.. it is Amazing that they are able to get away with such conduct.

We have just been told that we will not be getting a battery to run our solar system and still get the Government rebate before May 1st 2026. When we first started this process there were spots open to get this installed before the cut off date for the rebate. Now that it is too late to find another company to do this and Amazing Solar have told us they are going to send our deposit back and they will re quote on this job for when the rebates change after May 1st?
Don't go with this company? They firstly gave a quote and then when we needed to find out if the system would run when there was a power outage we were told that it would cost us an extra $1000
Just not good enough Amazing Solar

Started off great, wasn’t sure if Solar would work for us, but their salesperson convinced us that it was and also that upgrading to add a battery would also be a good option. Was happy with the solution and signed the contact/paid the deposit at the end of August 2025. That’s when things went bad.

I stopped hearing from them, so I followed up with their Customer Care Executive Hazel asking what the next steps were. She took a week to reply but said their scheduling team was working on booking us in and we would hear from them shortly/in a few days.

Over a week passed and I still hadn’t heard anything, so followed up again. She said I’ll check and get back to me. Over another week passed and still I hadn’t had an update, so followed up again, and again she just said she’s checking and will get back asap. Yet ANOTHER week passed with no update so again I followed up and go the same response. I’m checking. So over a month to ask their co worker for an update.

I then followed up with the original sales person Ryan who responded saying that they needed us to take a video of our meter and potential battery location. We sent that through right away with multiple options where the battery could go that I knew complied with the regulations. Another two weeks passed with no update. I then received an email from VIC solar saying our rebate was going to be cancelled soon if we don’t get this job booked - so once again I chased them for an update. Hazel then replied saying our installation has been booked for November 2025, and that we would get a call soon from the installation team to confirm the date. Another THREE weeks passed without a call, so I chased again. Hazel replied saying that they were booked to install next week, and I would receive a call shortly.

Another few weeks passed with no call or update, so we started calling them asking for an update. The first few times we called, they just hung up on us, but we kept calling. After finally getting through to Hazel and asking what the heck is going on, she said we’re going to cancel your order as we can’t install a battery at your address.

I emailed them right away asking for clarification as I had sent through a video showing the locations for battery installation that complied with regulations, and she responded saying oh I didn’t know you did that - please resend. At that point I knew they were lying and I had lost all trust in this company. Even if there was an issue with the battery, the main reason for starting the job was that I wanted solar panel. The worst company I’ve ever dealt with. Extremely unorganised with awful communication as soon as the contact is signed. 5 months completely wasted.

Terrible experience, 2 months after the original installation date they still hadn’t completed the install. We were then told it would cost double the quoted amount! Even though they assured us at the time of payment there would be no extra charges. Massive waste of time.

I recently had a solar battery installed through Amazing Solar and dealt with Roy, who was easy to communicate with. He was knowledgeable and made the whole process easy. The installation went smoothly, and I was very satisfied with the result. Would be happy to recommend!

I had the bad experience of some other company working “style”, with fantastic figures on paper to justify a ginormous price. I had a friend recommending Amazing Solar and I just called to see what fantastic story these ones have. And to my surprise there was no myth, no fantasy, no “german” new advanced technology BS. Just simple numbers, realistic output, links to the panels producers, hundreds happy customers, prices from Earth, relaxed no pushy conversation, simple process. One week later my system was pushing 32KW daily into the grid. After almost 1 month and 739KW later, I can say: RECOMMEND!!!

Writing in to say a big thank you to Peter and the Amazing Solar Team. He was extremely helpful making the process fast, stress free, very efficient and even pulled up an overhead picture from Google earth to show me what the house would look like once the solar was installed. Initially when looking at Solar solutions I was wary of getting scammed or overpaying that’s why I got a product review solar quote and going with Peter and Amazing Solar who have a local office in most states. Peter and his team helped with the paperwork and the rebate process so it all went great! So happy to recommend Peter who is a fantastic operator and Amazing Solar as a company.

Peter at Amazing Solar was very helpful and guided me through the installation process with expert advice.

This company is true to its name "Amazing Solar". I have been trying to get the solar system installed but unfortunately no one came forward with the answers to my questions. Recently, I tried again and luckily I got in touch with this company and the person who spoke to me is Roy. He gave very clear answers and I decided to try him. He is a very helpful and friendly person. I was expecting some hurdles in the way but to my great surprise, within a week the system was installed and its up and running. My Solaredge inverter installer did not set up the monitoring platform when the system was installed last week. Jennifer from Amazing Solar Customer support worked with me and the Solaredge helpdesk to get the platform organized so the system could be properly commissioned. She was courteous and helpful all the way through
