Veľmi sa tešíme, že náš Samko navštevuje Amakids NMNV. Logika mu šlape, má rád aktivity s lektorkou a kamošmi na hodinách. Jeho mozog sa učí flexibilite vďaka Amakidsu. Nem terhelő platform az iskola mellett.. Egyetlen hiányosága, hogy a platform nem elég játékos. Kevésbé ösztönző a napi feladatok elvégzésére. Maga az oktatás játékos és a gyerekek által abszolút élvezhető.
A képzés kezdeti dátumától számítva 2-3 héten belül érzékelhető volt a gyermek magabiztosságának erősödése, az iskolai lecke sokkal hamarabb történő elvégzése.

Learning to learn
My 5yo son visits amakids mental arithmetic classes the 5th month. After 3 weeks there was an improvement in his drawings, imo because of the 2 brain hemisphere's better synchronisation. We are doing a cca. 5minute long homework almost every day, which makes him sometimes frustrated - but with this we can talk a lot about the methodology of learning, recognition of feelings and knowing better ourselves and other similar important conceps which were a bit harder to learn later - in school under pressure. His focus and concentration skills improved with the homeworks. His counting (and math) abilities are very impressive! He was good at math because of the montessori education he received, but I like this japanese style abacus (soroban) more than the chinese style abacus which is in montessori. And with the montessori only, my son was choosing the math materials only once every 3-4 months. So the improvement in math skills is with the 5minutes/day method (I think it is the so-called spaced repetition) better. I am doing my 3rd diploma and the skills I gained together with my son are very useful as well.

We’re glad to hear that the daily practice is benefiting him, even though it’s not always easy, and that the Japanese abacus approach is working better for him than the Montessori method. Smart and fun
The classes are conducted in a highly engaging manner. The preschooler attends willingly and diligently completes homework assignments. Mathematical concepts are reinforced through play. I highly recommend it.
However, AmaKids could improve the management of make-up sessions. Notifications about the classes are sent only a day in advance, and the instructors often lack punctuality.

It is burdensome for the children to have homework every day of the week (it is about mental arithmetic). On the day of the lesson, they even have 2 homework assignments. Often the homework consists of 4 tasks with 7-8 examples each. For small children, this is quite burdensome.

Zlepšenie sústredenia a slovného vyjadrovania
Naša dcérka Eva absolvovala mentálnu aritmetiku s Jankou aj Miškou v 2.ročníku ZŠ. Momentálne je 3-tiačka a je zapojená do memoriky s Jankou. Prístupu lektoriek je fantastický, zábavný, Eva sa na hodiny vždy teší a s nadšením robí neurotréningy, kde sa dozvie okrem iného aj zaujímavosti zo sveta, geografie, biológie, chémie, histórie a dostáva všeobecný prehľad zaujímavou formou. Mentálna aritmetika jej veľmi pomohla so sústredením všeobecne. Toto bol vlastne dôvod prečo sme amakids chceli vyskúšať. Výsledky v škole ale aj v športe boli viditeľne lepšie už v priebehu mesiaca a určité neobľúbené predmety v škole začali byť obľúbené, lebo sa dokázala sústrediť a jednoducho povedané, išlo jej to lepšie, tak bola viac motivovaná vlastným úspechom a pokrokom. Memorika je oproti aritmetike iná ale vidím, ako sa Eve rozvíja slovná zásoba a zlepšuje vyjadrovanie. Čo je veľmi zaujímavé, je že je "sebadôvera" je akoby na vyššej úrovni a z môjho laického pohľadu to vnímam ako prepojenie lepšej komunikácie, schopnosťou zachytiť informácie oveľa rýchlejšie, vyhodnotiť dôležitosť informácií a zapamätanie si kľúčových faktov rýchlo. Tvorenie príbehov samotných je veľmi zaujímavé a podporuje slovené vyjadrovanie, rýchlu reakciu a schopnosť zapamätať si to, čo je skutočne dôležité . V škole aj živote je to niečo, čo umožní deťom efektívne rozlišovať dôležitosť informácií, naučí ich reagovať promptne, a čo je úplne najdôležitejšie, informácie si zapamätajú. Toto je niečo, čo naučí deti používať mozog, trénovať a narábať s ním presne tak ako je potrebné. Učenie je formou hry, čiže je to lákavé a zaujímavé.
