Scam company- do not use!
Scam company. Do not use! They don’t cover my repairs that are clearly covered in my contract. They keep needing new photos and videos, and they need 24-48 hours to approve them. After 48 hours, they need additional photos and it keeps going on and on. You can’t speak to a supervisor or an adjuster. 3 weeks and I’m still waiting for them to approve my claim and I’m without a car. Terrible company.

HORRIBLE COMPANY THAT WILL NOT PAY ! They will find every way not to pay the claim for your vehicle. I purchased the best warranty from the dealership with Alpha Warranty and a major issue occurred to my engine . My mechanic even called Alpha and advised them this is a common sure with 2020 chev Colorado trucks and that it should be definitely covered . I paid almost $2,000 for the horrible warranty and they REFUSED TO. OVER . There are better warranty company’s out there . Plz do your research . I’m putting this review on every media platform available.

Twice now I've tried to file a claim…
Twice now I've tried to file a claim with Alpha Warranty services. One for an issue with evap leaks. None of the parts to be replaced were covered by the warranty! Ended up costing me $1200. Second claim was for the A/C compressor. It overheated even though it was pushing out air and melted the device. Claim denied due to 'owner error'. How was I suppose to know the unit was overheated if it was still blowing air? As soon as we noticed the lack of cool air we took it in. By then they said it was neglect on our part. Yet another very expensive repair. Definitely NOT worth purchasing a warranty from an outside company. Lesson learned.

Regarding your first claim, our records show that the repair facility diagnosed the EVAP system concerns as a failed fuel tank pressure sensor and purge valve. Because your A+ Enhanced service contract provides coverage for specifically listed components, these parts are not included in the coverage selected and were therefore not eligible for benefits under the terms of the contract. However, during that same repair visit, Alpha Warranty Services did approve coverage for a radiator replacement, contributing $1,176.37 toward the repair.
For your second claim, the repair facility reported that the A/C compressor and clutch assembly had sustained damage after operating without refrigerant in the system, causing the compressor to overheat. Based on the findings provided by the repair facility, the claim fell under the contract exclusion for damage resulting from overheating or improper fluid levels and was therefore not eligible for coverage.
We recognize that claim decisions can be disappointing, particularly when significant repairs are involved. While we understand that you may disagree with the outcome, all claims are reviewed according to the terms, conditions, and exclusions outlined in the service contract. We appreciate your feedback and the opportunity to address your concerns.

Alpha Warranty is a scam
Alpha Warranty is a scam. Regardless of what your contract says, they will invent a reason to not cover your repair. Avoid at all costs.
EDIT - Since I can't respond to Alpha's comment:
The "evacuation and recharge service" was performed to diagnose the leaking A/C system. The tech has to recharge the system to find the leak. But you're claiming that this constituted regular maintenance simply because it took the tech more than one attempt to identify where the leak was coming from.
There was no approved repair "one month earlier." That is a complete fabrication.
My warranty contract states that:
"YOU are responsible for authorizing and paying for any tear-down or diagnosis time needed to determine if the VEHICLE has a covered breakdown. If it is subsequently determined that the repair is needed due to a covered breakdown, the ADMINISTRATOR will cover such diagnostic or tear-down charges per approved CLAIM."
I was not reimbursed the cost of diagnosis despite this repair being a covered breakdown. I'll be filing complaints of breach of contract and fraud with the Federal Trade Commission, the Oregon Dept of Financial Regulation, and the Oregon Dept of Justice.

As part of our No Prior Authorization review process, we evaluated the repair invoice to determine whether any covered component failure was present. The documentation submitted reflected an air conditioning evacuation and recharge service only. Because this is considered a maintenance service rather than a repair of a failed covered component, the claim was not eligible for coverage under the terms of the contract.
We also noted that an evacuation and recharge service had previously been covered as part of another approved repair approximately one month earlier, which is why additional documentation would have been necessary to identify any new covered mechanical failure.
We understand claim outcomes can be disappointing, especially when unexpected repair expenses arise. However, coverage decisions are based on the terms, conditions, and exclusions outlined in the vehicle service contract, not on an effort to avoid paying valid claims.

PLEASE DO NOT BUY A WARRANTY FROM THIS COMPANY . I bought the best warranty plan from alpha when I purchased my chev truck in Alabama . I paid almost $2,000 for the best plan . I had a major issue with my engine and the refused to pay . My mechanic even called , sent pictures , before part verses new part to show them it’s a legit claim that Alpha should be responsible for . After back and forth with my mechanic they still refused to pay . Folks will not pay so I would definitely consider another company to protect and ensure your vehicle engines .

We reviewed your claim in detail. The initial repair request was submitted for a vacuum pump failure. Under your service contract, the vacuum pump is not listed as a covered component, and therefore that portion of the claim was not eligible for coverage.
During the repair process, the facility later identified additional concerns, including damage to the valve cover and the exhaust camshaft. These components were reviewed by our claims team along with supporting photos and documentation provided by your repair facility.
Based on the findings, the valve cover damage was determined to be secondary to the non-covered vacuum pump failure, and the camshaft issue was found to be linked to the same root cause. Per the terms of your contract, damage resulting from or caused by a non-covered component is also not eligible for coverage.
There was also a period where we were awaiting additional inspection photos and documentation from the repair facility so the adjuster could complete a full review. Once all information was received and evaluated, the determination was made in accordance with the contract terms.

Currently awaiting my car rental reimbursement…
Currently awaiting my car reimbursement check from Alpha warranty. They mailed me a check that couldn’t be cashed, and when I called to inform them that I couldn’t cash the check, they informed me that they would be mailing another check. Fast forward to 3 weeks later, weekly calls, and no one knows why the finance department is delaying a reissued check. Really frustrated at this point.

I would not recommend Alpha warranty to…
I would not recommend Alpha warranty to anyone! Not only do they make you jump through every hoop, they also lie. My auto repair shop sent them an itemized bill with everything they needed and they flat out said they didn’t have it. I broke down on a Friday afternoon with a fully loaded pick up truck. I then called their roadside assistance and they said they pinned me at a totally different city! They would only cover 15 miles for a tow but actually I was only 4 miles from the Auto Repair shop I found. I was unsure of what they were saying so I hung up and I used my own insurance roadside assistance. Now going through them for an authorized repair takes days, plus no repair shop will release the vehicle without full payment. I fixed my starter and paid for it myself hoping for some kind of refund, but they flat out denied my claim. I’m canceling this contract and recouping some of my money because I don’t trust them!! Just read their reviews you’ll see how bad they are, go with any other warranty company.

After reviewing your claim, we found that the denial was not based on the repair itself, but on the fact that the repair was completed before authorization was obtained. As outlined in the terms of the service contract, authorization must be secured prior to repairs being performed in order for a claim to be eligible for coverage.
The repair occurred during normal business hours when our claims department was available to assist with the authorization process. Based on the nature of the repair, this likely would have been a straightforward claim review had the required procedures been followed before the work was completed.
We understand that you made the decision to proceed with repairs due to your travel plans and circumstances at the time. However, once repairs are completed without prior authorization, the contract specifically excludes reimbursement for those repairs.
We appreciate your feedback regarding the roadside assistance experience and regret any confusion that may have occurred. Customer feedback helps us identify opportunities for improvement, and we take those concerns seriously.

If I could give them less than one star…
If I could give them less than one star I would. They have been dragging out my warranty claim for WEEKS. Every time I call them they want something else. My mechanic sends information, they say they didn't get it. (He has emailed, sent information and images in the app, sent it via a secure link, ect.) I have been in the lobby of the mechanic shop and witness him sending this in and speaking with them. They are being extremely dishonest. I am actively seeking a lawyer to deal with Alpha Warranty's shady behavior.

A few months back my transmission went…
A few months back my transmission went out had to get my vehicle towed to the closest dealership to my house I had to pay for the tow out of pocket, next day I met the supervisor from the service department at the dealership he started my claim, got home 4 hours later get a call from the supervisor from the dealership I was warned that Alpha warranties was only going to cover the cost of a used transmission or they would only cover $5,000 of a new transmission I called Alpha Warranties and they confirmed what the supervisor had told me, I called the supervisor back and said I don't want a used transmission seeings how these are CVT transmissions, he agreed I had to pay $2600 out of pocket which was not a quick process and it took me about a month to get my vehicle back. 3 weeks ago my turbo went out well a part in the turbo, I didn't know at the time it was the (waste gate). Called the supervisor at the dealership he said the turbo should be under warranty I agreed I was told the turbo was before I financed the vehicle, set up an appointment go and drop off the vehicle I chose to get a rental through hertz from the Uber rental program so I can keep making money vs last time sitting around pulling my hair out. Got a call from the supervisor at the dealership 2nd day was told there is a problem with my warranty company he said that only LUBRICATED PARTS ARE COVERED UNDER WARRANTY!!!!!!! (Waste Gates) Are a non-lubricated part, well I do not have a dino at home to communicate with my car after changing certain parts and well I had a rental so I told the supervisor yea go ahead and do the work, called Alpha they said in the Bi laws under section blah blah flipping blah the part is not lubricated and they are not going to cover the dam cost I chewed them out trying to get them to change there minds which was dum and a waste of a phone call. Now hertz screwed me over, so no more rental, no more cash flow, I've been a Uber driver for 6 wonderful years and now I have to get a 9-5 and save up another $2400 in order to get my dam car back. Alpha Warranties is the worst flipping Warranty company I have ever dealt with and I think anyone who has left them a complemented 5 * review is lying or AI created reviews. If I had the money I would sue this company at the same time if I had money I would not have been waiting for my car to get out of dealership jail.

North Star Lexus of San Antonio, Texas
Alpha Warranty Services contract bought though North Star Lexus in San Antonio Texas on a used 2019 Mecedes Benz GLS450 sucks. They do not offer the additional packages that cover most bullshit break downs like line leaks, lighting, and misc. other problems. Alpha does not cover what they know are going to come-up as problems. Alpha Warranty and North Star Lexus both suck!!

Poor Customer Service
My name is Jeremiah Jamison, and I purchased the premier warranty package that is supposed to cover everything on my vehicle. I have had this vehicle for 8 months and barely drive it. The front differential started leaking gear oil, and I was told by my warranty advisor that this would not be covered under my warranty. When I asked why I was told it was due to the leak itself. This doesn’t make sense to me or the workers at the local Mercedes dealership where I live. I asked to speak to a manager about this issue and was told that my information would be given to a manager to contact me as soon as possible. I have not been contacted to date. I feel like someone dropped the ball resulting in poor customer service and poor communication to resolve this issue. I have questions about why this is not covered under my warranty and would like answers.

Regarding your claim, the repair facility reported a significant leak from the front differential that resulted in the unit operating without sufficient fluid, which led to internal damage. Your service contract does cover many major components, but it is not a “bumper-to-bumper” warranty. As outlined in the contract, repairs required due to an improper quantity of fluids are not covered, regardless of the cause. Based on the findings provided at the time of inspection, this is why the claim was denied.
That said, your concerns about communication are understandable. A supervisor call was noted but not properly routed, and that delay should not have happened. We apologize for the inconvenience caused. We have since had a senior team member connect with you directly to review the decision, explain the reasoning in detail, and go over next steps.

There was much deception in the sales pitch. I was supposed to have a 100.00 deductible and ended up paying 530.00 of a needed repair. The only reason I purchased this warranty is because I am on a fixed income and could not afford to pay repairs.
