Aloha Surf School Omdömen 

Booked a surf lesson for myself and 3 of my children whilst at Sandymouth. Booking the session was quick and easy through text. Met Rod on the day of the lesson and he was excellent with the 3 children, 10,12,14, and myself. Explained clearly the dangers of rip tides and what to look for when in the sea to stay safe. The lesson was kept fun and we all spent more time trying to catch waves than sitting on the beach. Rod made the process of surfing very simple and broke it down into smaller stages so we could gradually get used to what we needed to do to eventually catch a wave and surf back to shore. All of us managed to get up on the board and surf, even if mine was only for a few seconds before I wipedout lol.

Great surfing lesson with Megan, my 2 kids age 12 &11 had a great time. It’s hard work, but both enjoyed learning and putting this in to practise on the waves! Rod was a pleasure too, reassuring my nervous daughter she will have a great time, which she did! Will definitely book again on our next trip down to Bude, thank you

Great surfing experience would definitely recommend. Not as busy as other beaches so much nicer

My first ever surf lesson was a lot of fun and I was standing up and riding the waves several times before the end. I booked last minute and Rodrigo was very accommodating. He is an excellent instructor, very encouraging, patient and knowledgeable!

I would 100% recommend this company. Money well spent. The instructor was so patient detailed and was determined to get us all surfing by the end of the session.
Having 2 young boys whos listening and attention spans being limited they both were standing on boards by the end.
In hindsight should have done the lesson at the beginning of the holiday so the boys could have surfed for the whole holiday.. But they have learnt valuable techniques which will help next time.

I would 100% re-book as it was brilliant.

What a great guy! Highly recommend Rod and the fabulous surf tuition. Rod explained everything we needed to know and step by step got us surfing. My 10 year old was surfing loads of waves but most importantly Rod made her feel safe and confident in the water. An inspiring and fun guy. Oh and the hot chocolate was an added bonus. Thank you!! Wish we lived closer to have more lessons.

We cannot rate Aloha and Rod more highly. His surf lessons are timed for the best surf, his lessons are informative and individualised to the needs of each trainee surfer. My husband was due to surf with my 11 and 7 year old. As the waves were low Rod advised it wasn’t good adult surfing conditions so charged us less and just took the kids. This is definitely not the norm from our observations of other surf schools in the area who continue whatever. Rod was determined my two would stand on their boards by the end of their lesson. He used great patience and skill and they both did it! Thank you and well done Rod. You have created memories to last a lifetime. My two continue to give me facts about the sea and seaweed and tides even after we have returned home! Heather (Leicestershire).

Brilliant surf lesson for my 8yr old daughter, who had never done it before but Rod had her up on the board after just 1 lesson, but just as importantly had great fun!! Rod gave great tuition both before and in the water.
