Al Meeqat Travel 

I’m very disappointed with my experience with this travel agency, particularly when it comes to communication and customer service.

I booked my trip with my wife, and when we arrived at the airport, we discovered that we had been allocated seats in different aisles. I contacted the travel agent to ask why we hadn’t been seated together, but he kept telling me to refer to the itinerary, which didn’t address my concern. He eventually said he would look into it, but I never received a response.

A few days before our return flight to the UK, I contacted him again to ask if he could arrange for us to sit together. Once again, he said he would look into it. I then contacted another member of the agency, who promised to get back to me within two hours. More than 15 hours passed, and I still received no response.

Unfortunately, I missed my return flight because I arrived at the airport too late, and I accept responsibility for that. However, what disappointed me was the lack of support and practical assistance I received from the agency when I contacted them for help. It took them around 45 minutes to find an alternative flight, whereas I managed to find one myself in approximately 10 minutes. The agency then offered me the same flight for an additional £60.

What frustrated me most was being told by a member of staff that nobody had responded to my earlier messages because they had a day off. This made little sense to me, as I had explicitly been promised a response within two hours. If the person I was dealing with was unavailable, I would have expected better communication or for another member of the team to follow up.

I have booked through other travel agencies in the past, and they have helped arrange seats so that I could sit with whoever I was travelling with. I understand that seat selection can depend on the airline and may involve additional charges, but I would have appreciated clear communication about this from the beginning.

I am not suggesting that this company is a scam, and I can only speak from my own experience. However, the poor communication, lack of follow-up and disappointing customer service have left me with a very negative impression. When customers reach out for assistance, they should receive clear answers and reasonable support rather than being left waiting for responses that never come.

Unfortunately, based on this experience, I will not be using this travel agency again. I hope they take this feedback seriously and improve their communication and customer service for future customers.

Absolutely terrible experience. Our flights were cancelled while we were in Medina and we were left stranded with practically no help or support from the agency. They then refused to properly assist us with getting our refund, leaving us to chase everything ourselves.

Once they had our money, the customer service was shocking when we actually needed them. I would never book with them again and definitely would not recommend them to anyone, especially for Umrah travel. Avoid.

Really good communication services and good package deals arbaaz kept in contact through the whole trip and made sure everything went smooth and well any issues he would sort out he was very supportive and there wen needed throughout the whole journy

Nigar dealt with the itinerary in an efficient and proactive manner. Nigar responded to all my queries promptly and professionally.
While in Saudi Arabia, Nigar kept the contact though everything went as planned.
An absolutely great experience to book Umrah through them.

Our customer service advisor was great. She made sure everything was on point and all the arrangement such as transportation and hotel was done before we arrived. Truly a great experience all round. Well recommended company.

I had a great experience booking my Umrah with this company. Everything was well-organized, from the visa process to accommodation and transport, making the journey smooth and stress-free. The team was professional, supportive, and always available to help. They stayed in contact with us throughout the whole time and it was a wonderful experience Alhamdulillah. Will definitely be booking with them again and highly recommend this company for a reliable and comfortable Umrah experience.

Allhumdulilahe we had an amazing experience with Al Meequat, a life time experience my family and myself will never forget!
Al Meequat helped and supported our recent umrah trip from start to finish.
We had a few issues with my son loosing his passport at Ankara airport with Pegasus airlines but that didn’t stop us from performing our umrah.
We received updates and support and the Saudi’s were amazing and supported us with this aswell as Pegasus airlines!
Our ziyaret and driver support were also great and managed to do umrah several times with their aid.
Our Makkah hotel there were a few hiccups but was resolved with the help from Faizan/Hasson at Al Meequat and Mr Noor’s driving team, especially Bilal who had amazing patience and knowledge at Madinah and Nasib who helped us at Aisha masjid at Makkah with no expense and helped my husband in and out of the car.
Al Meequat were amazing with sorting out wheelchair facilities when travelling to the airport and with transit at Abu Dhabi.
I’m not sure how to be so grateful, appreciateive and thankful to this amazing team, nothing was too much trouble and they tried their best to accomplish us so that our umrah trip was easy and possible.
Inshallah I’ll travel with them again recommend this amazing team 🤲🏽❤️.

Great service. Happy with all round expertise on my Umrah trip.

First time for us and I’m so happy with the service provided by Al Meeqat Travels, despite our original departure flights being cancelled due to the current ongoing wars we was given alternative flight options and everything went smoothly alhumdulilah. The only thing I would point out on is just to double check if your package does include ziyarats make sure your checking with the allocated drivers are the right ones as we did experience unnecessary stress with a driver who wanted me to pay him extra. Otherwise super happy and definitely will be coming back to this travel agency in the future inshallah
