I recently travelled to Turkey from the UK for otoplasty and 360 liposuction, and I cannot speak highly enough about Dr Ali and the care I received.

Dr Ali was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and reassuring. I was naturally quite nervous before undergoing surgery, but he took the time to explain everything clearly, answer all of my questions, and make sure I felt completely comfortable and confident moving forward.

What really stood out to me was Dr Ali’s attention to detail and genuine care for me. I never felt rushed or “just another patient” — I felt truly listened to and supported throughout the entire journey.

The results have exceeded my expectations, and it’s clear that my surgeon is highly skilled and takes great pride in their work. I am absolutely thrilled with the outcome.

The whole team was so kind and friendly, but it was my surgeon’s expertise and reassuring approach that made this experience so positive for me. I’m incredibly grateful and would highly recommend them to anyone considering surgery.

I felt I needed to write this review because I’m going home incredibly grateful and satisfied with the procedure and care I received.

I was recommended Dr Ali by a friend, and after seeing his work I decided to book liposuction with him. From the moment I arrived in Izmir, everything was exceptional. The whole process from the airport transfer to the hospital and everything that followed was organised perfectly and ran so smoothly.

Before travelling to Izmir, the lovely Ece, the patient coordinator, answered every question I had, day and night. She was absolutely brilliant throughout the entire process and made me feel supported from the very beginning.

On my first night at the hospital I was greeted by Fatima, the translator, and the nursing team. They honestly looked after me so well from start to finish. When I met Dr Ali, he made me feel comfortable straight away. He is extremely knowledgeable and educated, and every question I asked was answered in complete detail. As my procedure was a revision liposuction, he carefully explained exactly what would be done to achieve the safest and best results. I felt so reassured knowing I was in the hands of such a skilled surgeon.

Not only is Dr Ali amazing at what he does, he is also kind, compassionate and genuinely caring. Before my surgery he could tell I was nervous, but the reassurance he gave me made me feel completely at ease. After the surgery, he came to visit me several times, helped with my garments and made sure I was healing well and comfortable.

The hospital itself was very clean, and the nurses were incredibly attentive. They honestly couldn’t have looked after me any better. Day and night they were checking on me, changing my bed, completing observations and helping whenever I needed anything.

Everything about the experience was smooth and professional, and most importantly my results are already looking amazing.

I stayed in the hospital for three days and then moved to a hotel for another three days. During that time, a nurse visited me to check on my healing, which was such a great level of aftercare. On my final day I had a follow-up appointment at Dr Ali’s office where he went through every stage of the healing process and aftercare instructions in detail. He even gave me a lovely gift bag to take home.

One thing that really stood out to me is that Dr Ali asked me to continue sending updates and photos of my progress after returning home. This is something I have never experienced with any previous procedures, and it really shows how much he cares about both his patients and the quality of his work.

Dr Ali is incredible not only excellent at what he does, but genuinely a lovely and funny person too. If anyone is considering surgery abroad, I would absolutely recommend him. I have had several cosmetic procedures before, and nothing has matched the level of care and experience I had here with Dr Ali, Fatima, Ece, the nurses and the hotel staff.

Thank you all so much. I’m healing really well and already looking forward to seeing my results improve over the coming weeks and months. If I ever needed any more surgery in the future, I wouldn’t think twice about coming back to Dr Ali.

An incredible experience from start to finish.

I cannot recommend Dr. Ali highly enough. From start to finish, my entire experience was exceptional, and I felt genuinely cared for every step of the way.

From the moment I arrived in Turkey, Dr. Ali was incredibly reassuring. He took the time to thoroughly explain the entire process, discuss my options in detail, and ensure I felt fully informed and comfortable before anything else was addressed. What stood out to me most was that there was absolutely no pressure regarding payment. In fact, it was us who had to bring up the topic of payment, and he calmly reassured us that it could be sorted afterwards. At no point did I feel rushed or treated like a transaction, which sadly can sometimes be a concern when travelling abroad for surgery.

Another major green flag for me was when I enquired about a specific procedure and Dr. Ali advised against it, explaining honestly why it would not be the best option for me. That level of integrity and professionalism gave me complete confidence that he prioritises patient wellbeing over profit.

The hospital itself was outstanding — easily one of the best I have experienced. The room was immaculate, the food was excellent, and the nursing staff were attentive and thorough. My vitals were checked regularly, including blood pressure and temperature, and the team were constantly in and out ensuring I was comfortable and recovering well.

Before returning to the UK, we visited Dr. Ali’s office for a final review, which was just as welcoming and personal as the rest of the experience. It never felt like a “conveyor belt” service. Knowing that he performs only one surgery per day further reinforced my trust in him, as it’s clear he focuses on quality and individual patient care.

As a final thoughtful touch, he even gave my family gifts when we were leaving Turkey — a gesture that truly reflects the kind of person he is.

I would not hesitate to return to Dr. Ali in the future. I trusted him completely, and he exceeded every expectation. An exceptional surgeon and an even better person.

This was my second time travelling from the UK to see Dr Ali and honestly that speaks for itself. He is just incredible.

I would not have gone back if I did not fully trust him. After my first surgery, I knew if I ever chose to have anything else done, it would only ever be with Dr Ali. That level of trust is rare, especially when you are putting your body, health and confidence in someone’s hands.

Dr Ali is genuinely exceptional at what he does. His eye for perfection is unreal. He does not just perform surgery, he truly sculpts. The way he looks at proportions, balance and detail shows how experienced and talented he is. He is precise, calm and so focused on getting everything exactly right. You can tell he takes real pride in his work.

Both times I felt completely safe and looked after. I never felt rushed, never felt like just another patient. He listens properly and explains everything clearly, which made me feel confident at every step of the process.

Travelling from the UK for surgery can feel daunting, especially with all the negative press, but Dr Ali and his team make everything seamless. The organisation, care and communication are amazing. During recovery, I felt supported the whole time. Even after flying home, I knew I could reach out and I would be looked after.

I am beyond happy with my results. He has not just enhanced my body, he has boosted my confidence in such a positive way. I am so happy with my results again.

I would and do recommend Dr Ali without hesitation. Choosing him again was one of the easiest decisions I have made. He is truly gifted at what he does.

Dr. Ali recently performed revision rhinoplasty and chin implant, neck lipo with endolift on me. Dr. Ali is par excellence at his craftsmanship!! I was amazed by how precise, meticulous he was during the consultation. He saw exactly what the problem with my nose,He gave me such perfect, natural looking nose that is in harmony with rest of my face, including perfect size chin and neck that makes me look years younger. Dr Ali and his team came highly recommended to me and they did not disappoint. From my initial contact with Ece the patient coordinator all the way through the whole process it was perfect. Zeynep the travel coordinator kept me informed about all the transfers from airport to hospital/hotel.
I met Dr Ali on the morning of my surgery. He is honest and explained everything very clearly.

I got my breast augmentation done by Dr. Ali Uckan, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the results! From the very first consultation, he made me feel completely comfortable and confident in my decision. He explained everything clearly, listened to exactly what I wanted, and achieved the perfect result for my body.

All of the staff and nurses were so kind, supportive, and genuinely caring throughout the whole process — they really make you feel looked after every step of the way. The aftercare was amazing too, I felt so supported even after my surgery and any questions I had were answered straight away.

I am one day post op from a breast augmentation with fat transfer and fold modification from dr Ali and all I can say is he is amazing! I was a little bit sceptical going to turkey for surgery as of the media and what people say, however this is the best thing I have ever done! Dr Ali was recommended to me by a close friend. This was a result of a chain of recommendations which gave me a lot of confidence in making my decision to have surgery with him.
From the beginning, getting in touch over WhatsApp, everything was very smooth and the team responsive.
Dr Ali has a fab team supporting him so we (me and my husband who travelled with me), were met with a very warm welcome. So service for the whole experience gets 5* from us.
Dr Ali has a fantastic manner, considering we did not meet until the day of the surgery, I was very much at ease throughout the whole experience.

On the surgery itself, I had a breast reduction and uplift procedure and I am very happy with the results and healing well. Dr Ali is clearly a good surgeon but also has a keen eye for the cosmetic result. I am very pleased with my new shape and size.

Dr Ali. Uckan was recommended to me by 2 friends that were highly satisfied with their surgery. He is so thorough and reassuring and did not only perform what I wanted, but revision surgery that I needed. I felt so safe and reassured for the whole process of my breast re- augmentation & fat transfer surgery. I didn’t get all of the names of the staff, but all of the nurses went above and beyond. They are absolute angels and constantly supported & checked up on me. As well as Fatima, she went out of her way to take me and my guest to a local restaurant when we arrived and was just so lovely and caring. Zeynip was so friendly and sweet when she took me for my scans. I organised my surgery through Ece, who was so so helpful and kind, communicated with me non stop and has supported me with any queries. Would also like to thank the men who took us to and from hospital, airport and for appointments. The transfer services are a luxury and they were so nice. Compared to having the same surgery in the UK the first time round, I have had a much better experience in Izmir at their hospital and have left with much better results, as Dr Ali had to correct some previous work. I first enquired with dr Ali regarding breast augmentation, I was very hesitant who I wanted to go to and after seeing many 5 star reviews of dr Ali and with dr Ali thoroughly explaining everything to me start to finish made me feel a lot at ease and confident with wanting to go with dr Ali, so I did and from me enquiring up until now being 1 week post op everything has been absolutely amazing smooth and easy! Ali’s care coordinator was also so helpful, kind and patient with all my questions she was lovely. Dr Ali Uckan and his staff were amazing. I went for a rhinoplasty. In my consultation he clearly understood what my goal was and gave me a realistic analysis on what he wanted to achieve with my nose, and how this matched my goal.

Himself and his staff (Ece especially) all spoke great English and were so kind. You can contact the patient coordinator Ece all hours of the day, and she connects you with Dr Ali very quickly if you ever have any medical questions.

Dr Ali made me feel very welcomed and also has a great sense of humour which put my nerves at ease. I felt very safe and calm after the surgery in the hospital, the staff were also very lovely.

I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND staying at the HILTON! It is worth the extra money.

Dr Ali removed my old breast implants along with pocket and fold revision. I honestly cannot recommend him more, he’s not only very clever and made me feel completely at ease and safe . He’s such a nice kind natured man. Iv had two breast augmentation in the past and none of my previous surgeons spoke me through my anatomy and procedure like he did. His team are fantastic.
