Once again, fabulous service from a trusted business.
We used the online booking service which was easy to work and very well laid out
Our engineer Tyler text about 15 minutes before arriving which allowed me time to secure my Dogs.
Tyler was polite, courteous,professional and clearly competent throughout the service visit and was happy to show and explain what he was doing and why.
When the service was completed, Tyler took time to ask how the central heating was being used and gave loads of useful information and tips on saving money on gas bills without trying to sell me anything.

The plumber was hard working, arrived on time & was considerate, he cleaned and tidied up at the end of each day & kept me well informed of the work he was doing
The electrician didn't arrive as planned but didn't hold things up
The tiler made a good job of the floor & shower surround but reluctant to deal with the detailed work involving the mosaics
However the overall experience was a 5 star one & would definitely recommend

7 year old boiler suddenly stopped working. Tried various Big Name service providers who were average 3 weeks to visit and not really interested!! So I tried Alford heating and plumbing, a local company I found on Google.. so pleased I did.
From the first call I made I found helpful, experienced real people who wanted to help and Mo.. our engineer arrived promptly.
Mo was polite, courteous and very Covid aware. A thorough diagnosis
found to be a faulty Gas valve . A major fault.. and although Mo was unable to source the part needed On the day..after lots of calls and a visit to his supplier..a replacement valve was found and fitted as soon as it arrived. All done at a more than reasonable price it must be highlighted!
Mo also advised a replacement gas pipe from the meter would be needed as was made of Lead.. so this will be done soon.
We have agreed a regular Boiler service from this excellent local company and would recommend them for any heating and plumbing work.

First year service of Worcester Bosch boiler completed successfully. Engineer was punctual, polite and very respectful of the Covid regulations. Would recommend Alford Plumbing and Heating - everything from Quote to installation was faultless and now the first service has been completed I can safely say the service level is consistent regardless of work carried out. Feels good to support a local business with real people who care compared to the big corporate or online companies. Thank you team Alford, here's to another year of hot water and a warm house!

Fantastic repair to a leaking pipe - quick response, stuck with it to find the well hidden leaking pipe, prompt fix and the usual excellent tidying up and finishing off at the end of the day and the end of the job - top marks again Alford, thank you.

Tyler did a great job fixing the pump on our shower. He cleaned up after himself and arrived exactly when we expected him. So impressed we are going to move our boiler servicing to this firm.
