Do NOT book with these Jokers!

Booked a ticket with them online. They send me a different itinerary...on purpose. I called them said thats not what I booked. They blamed me for it but I know what flight I DID book as I put it on my desktop (Screenshot). I called them immediately after they emailed me the itinerary and told them to change it to what I wanted. They said they can't and it would cost $700 to change a mistake they made. My peers who I met in Amsterdam got direct flights back to Canada for on par prices from these jokers. My flight back to Canada was from Amsterdam to Munich to London (for an overnight stay which I didn't request) to Canada the following day. Take a look on the map and see how I had to fly from Amsterdam to Munich before going to London. Totally back tracking. I didn't book that flight and no fool would. But they say I did because I'm sure they ran out of seats on the flight I DID book and then sent me an alternative and then pinned it on me that I booked THAT one originally. Scum bags. Never again. Fraudulent and sketchy is all I can say.

the worst customer service

the worst customer service, they talk to you like robots. they have 0 communication skills, they don't understand what you are saying, they are rude, they never resolve your problems and they always want to blame the airline when they are the ones you are paying your hard earned money too. at the end of the day, flight hub should own up to pleasing their paying customers. ridiculous!!! my wife had doctors orders/note to not fly on any airplane and the airline told me it was a valid reason to get my money back. However, since I purchased my tickets from flight hub; they needed to refund my money. I explained this to flight hub and they still acted like robots and blamed the airline when i told them the airline said it was a valid reason and it was like talking to a robotic wall. I lost over 1600 dollars and i learned my lesson. flight hub or any other foreign run customer service company sucks and i will never do business with pieces of bull cramp companies like that ever again.....

I feel ripped off.

I was planning an anniversary trip with my wife to San Francisco, and booked a flight through FlightHub. The flight was on United, with a new fare called "Basic Economy." After booking, I get an email from United saying that with this fare, I cannot "sit with [my] group or family." Thanks United. I'm within the normal 24 cancellation period, so call United to cancel. United tells me that I have to call Voyage Ala-cart. Voyage Ala-cart tells me they are just a wholesaler, and I have to call FlightHub. FlightHub tells me that I have to pay $75/person ($150 total) to cancel, even if within 24 hours. After complaining, they "generously" reduced my penalty to $50/person. So to get my refund, they first will charge me an ADDITIONAL $100 now. Then in five to ten business days, I will get a refund of my full purchase price. Unbelievable.

Very bad customer service

Very bad customer service. when I called they let me wait for 2 hours and they didn't even solve the problem.
My mom was sick and we needed to change the returning date for medical reason. I called to change it they ask for medical note, I brought the medical note and since 6 months I'm waiting for them to chnage it!!! Last time I deal with them.
Expedia is way more better and they respect their customer. When my aunt died I had to change my returning date and they chnage it in the same minute on the phone and they didn't even ask for brove!!

Don't do it! Found out I had no ticket on the day prior to departure!

To make it worse I also had no return ticket, even though I received confirmations and their "Booking Reference" numbers. Had I not tried reserving my seat prior to departure and would have left my son stranded in Europe.Had I not tried to reserve seats on the flight home I would have been stranded at Athens airport.
Support was horrendous, tickets cancelled by poorly trained staff, they never confirmed seats with airlines, expected the airlines to "fit me in"/re-honour seats. No compensation was ever brought up even though I spent 3 days in airports and over $90euro in additional travel expenses. I will never deal with Airticketsdirect.com or their parent company FlightHub.

Very poor service

My biggest suggestion is not to use this web site ever. They do not have any insurance and squeeze every dollar out of you. Very rude customer service.

Worst experience ever!!!

Website is totally misleading. Button says "next step" instead of "complete booking"!
No place to select insurance option, because as the customer rep said that not every ticket has that option. An hour and a half waste on trying to get the insurance for my flight talking to the rep, who kept apologizing instead of doing something useful. Supervisor was totally rude and made me feel stupid for using their website. On the website they pride in offering total satisfaction. BS! Please avoid booking anything through this website. Total scam, because they know that in the end of the day, you can't do anything and they got all the power and will rape you for every dollar they can.

Scheming Company, AVOID

Scheming company. I found my tickets they were about $50 cheaper than the other site so (tickets were around $1200 each)... But when I paid for the ticket, my credit card got charged more than the outlined checkout price, no big deal still pretty much at the same price as other sites. Here comes the worst part, I found a much better, cheaper flight later and called in to see if I can modify and they said $400 each ticket to modify and no money will be returned for a refund!! Now my flight is a week from now they call to tell me there is flight change and I have to wait in the airport 16 hours... My options are I get refund or stick with it. They knew about this information for over 2 months but did not want to let me know when I wanted to cancel/ change but waited until a week from my departure. On top of that horrible service, as they are rude and when I called in about my baggage allowance, they kept giving me different information. They are completely disorganized, AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I just finished a three day battle with this site. During the online check out the form reverted to default and my dates were changed. When I tried to change the dates they said there would be a series of fees. That's when we noticed that not only did the form reset but it repeated my first name twice so my boarding cards would be wrong and I couldn't flight anyways. After many calls to the airline and Airticketsdirect, they finally agreed to cancel the tickets for a fee!!!

Then they asked if I wanted to buy new tickets? Really, really, I would not touch this site again with a ten foot pole, there is a reason their flights are cheaper cause they do this.

Tricked

We just purchased a ticket through Airticketsdirect.com and we are NOT impressed. The ticket was the same price as booking through the airline, but they tack on a $20 "best purchase guarantee". You have the option of cancelling the guarantee, BUT no where does it say that they CHARGE for the guarantee until AFTER you've entered your credit card information. On top of this, the "guarantee" gives you the option of cancelling your ticket the same day you purchased. However, the offices you contact are open 10-5 (EST), Monday - Friday. So if, like me, you book on a Saturday, the "guarantee" is no good to you anyway, but is still automatically added unless you decline it.

One other complaint - when looking for tickets to Lihue, Hawaii the first page of results were for flights to Honolulu, Hawaii - a completely different island!

Overall, not impressed with airticketsdirect.com and would advise others to just book directly from the airline. IF airticketsdirect.com offers to credit my credit card back the $20 for their bogus "guarantee" I will update my review and let you know.

Completely negligent

I recently purchased a return ticket through AirTicketsDirect. Each trip (outgoing and return) was 3 flights. After purchasing the ticket, the middle leg was changed to a different day, making the ticket unusable. They didn't even notify me of this change (for the return flight). AirTicketsDirect told me that this is not their problem and said that such changes are the passenger's responsibility. I would warn anyone considering making a purchase through AirTicketsDirect to reconsider. You may end up with a completely unusable ticket.

Excellent price and service

I've purchased 3 tickets now from Air Tickets Direct. The price and the service have been fantastic each time. I rarely write reviews about companies, but thought they did such a remarkable job that it would be worth writing about.
