The voucher can only be used on their website.
The website inflates the prices by double or sometimes triple the actual price from the airlines directly, making the voucher worse than useless.

For example, one flight I checked cost £280 directly from an airline, but the exact same flight on Tripgift was £1100, so using my £100 voucher would cost me £800+

I looked at flights to over 30 locations before giving up. The entire company is a massive scam.

This is a scam, please do not buy anything from this website, or buy the Airlinegift voucher. They give you £50 discount on the voucher but force you to buy ticket from giftcard website which are £200 more expensive than a normal website. This is a fraud and should be banned

Can't even access the website for both companies it's associated with one being it's own website and other it's parent company.

Don’t use this company!

I received a gift card through a third-party platform and chose to redeem it on AirlineGift.com, expecting to book flights at regular airline rates. Instead, I was shocked to find the prices on the site were massively inflated—far above what you'd pay booking directly with the airline.

As many others have pointed out, this completely negates the value of the gift card. Any benefit from the gift is effectively stolen by the markup, with the website pocketing the difference.

Frankly, I’m surprised this site hasn’t been taken down yet—it operates in a way that feels deliberately deceptive. BE WARNED: this does not function like a legitimate travel gift card and should be avoided.

Priced up a flight with KLM directly. Then realised my employer offers airlinegift vouchers, so I bought one for that value. And after buying it, 3 problems:

1. With voucher systems, you can use them direct on the KLM booking system. Not this one. You have to use their web portal. Trouble with that, is...

2. The flight times I need aren't listed at all on airlinegift, despite being available on KLM's site. I can't get them. And worse...

3. The prices on airlinegift are 200% higher than booking direct with KLM. Yup, you read that correctly.

I'm now stuck with 700GBP of vouchers that I can't use (because the flight time doesn't exist) and would be crazy to use (because it would end up costing me more than the price of the voucher.)

An absolute scam - you buy a non-refundable voucher only to realise the flights/ tours/ transfers are anywhere between 50 and 100% MORE EXPENSIVE than if you book direct. Despite several complaints and back/ forth communication they are refusing to refund my voucher and I have lost money as a result. I want my money back.

Looking at flights they are about 25% more expensive than other websites. Don’t waste your money

Should be ashamed of themselves. Even with a considerable value of vouchers, the flights are more expensive through them instead of going direct.

Why not issue us with a physical gift card to use for a selected airline instead of being greedy? No refunds either. Shady business practise, greedy.

You'll likely find much better prices and avoid the issues I encountered. Don't fall victim to Airline Gift's misleading tactics and overpriced flights.

I have a voucher given as a present. I can't log on but reading the reviews its perhaps a blessing. What a total waste of £175.

I received a £100 voucher from my brother as a gift, however I've not used it due to the rip off flight prices meaning I'd pay more to actually use the voucher. The prices on the website are always 30-50% higher than booking with the airline directly, it's such a scam. Save yourself and whoever you're gifting some money and stay clear.

Scam company. I spent 1500 through my work perks login for a 6.5% discount on a BA flight. Just to find that you can't book with BA. You have to book through their website and the flights were £500 more expensive than with BA direct... Absolutely mortified
