Refreshing course that is worth your time!
Thank you so much to the AimHi Earth team for this amazing course! It was very lively and well balanced between scientific facts, examples and questions to engage the audience. The issues are not sugar-coted but there is a positive and optimistic way of explaining them and motivating us to take actions.
Also the participants are full of resources and don't hesitate to share them along the way.
Thank you all again for your time and expertise, I truly learnt a lot and enjoyed every bit of it!

Engaging, informative and inspiring
As a scientist and activist I thought I'd try the course to see if I could improve the way I communicate about climate and nature. No only did I learn more about this, but I learned lots of information I didn't realise I didn't know. I cannot recommend the course more highly - clearly delivered, engaging and inspiring.

AimHi Earth's Climate Course was an engaging, thoughtful, and informative series that I would recommend to everyone, regardless of how much you already know about the topic. The presenters were passionate and knowledgeable but were intentional about creating a safe space for the audience to test their own knowledge and preconceptions without judgment.

Really informative and they did really well with keeping everyone engaged even when there was some wifi issues. Would recommend for anyone who knows nothing about the environment. Also the team is really easy to get in touch with if anything goes wrong.

AimHi are inspirational!
I've learned so much on their 4 week online course.
They are engaging, enthusiastic and very clear with their knowledge and information. The lessons are set out very clearly and well explained throughout. They also offer plenty of ideas and actual solutions that are totally achievable right now.
I highly recommend them to everyone!

10/10 would recommend!
Brilliant course, delivered exceptionally. I have learnt a great deal, not only about the climate and ecological emergency itself, but about direct changes and actions I can take to play my part in driving forward the agenda. It was incredibly interactive and inclusive, with content delivered in such a way that made it appeal to diverse age ranges. Fantastic that each session was followed by a Q&A with an incredible line up of speakers - I particularly found it inspiring to hear from the many young change makers who are out there fighting for the future of our planet. And to top it off, you also receive an after-lesson pack with useful resources to dive further into. 10/10 would recommend!

Engaging communicators, plus ways to improve
An excellent course with engaging communicators. Ways of improving it would be to have more natural history broadcasters, scientists, politicians like Caroline Lucas etc in the Q & A sessions and less pop stars and footballers, who only have limited knowledge on the subject. Also personally I think you over did it in constantly pushing veganism in the first 3 sessions. Solutions are multi faceted and complex plus realistically everyone is not going to become a vegan, and being preachy can put people off. Other than that, keep up the good work.

We're so glad that you came to AimHi Earth's course, and thank you for taking the time to write such a friendly review!
We're a little confused by some of your suggested improvements though.
We didn't have any footballers or pop stars on as guests...
Our full range of guests, scattered throughout the most recent run of our Climate & Nature course for the public, included Sylvia Earle, Chris Packham, Jojo Mehta, Nick Mulvey, Jessie Mei Li, Sam Lee, Etienne Stott, Melati Wijsen, Love Ssega, Tom Mustill, Hannah Mills and young changemakers from around the world in YOUTHTOPIA's Circle of Youth. We also ensured that scientist Matthew Shribman was present for all Q&As to answer questions.
We decided not publish which guest would be on each date (to keep it as a lucky dip!) so that the course itself would be the focus, . Perhaps we ought to change this though. Thank you for making us rethink this.
As for veganism, the words "vegan" and veganism aren't in the course.
We are really careful to never tell anyone what diet to have, nor what to do. Rather we talk about the science, and since it's hard science these days that reducing our intake of animal products is mostly enormously beneficial for both our own health and the health of the planet, this is the story that we tell.
It's true that Chris and Jessie are both vegan, and so perhaps you were referring to them speaking in the guest sections?
