The man doing the videos is fun and easy to listen to. Good voice, and not irritating. Also, talks in everyday language. The short video clips and short sections of reading before you click NEXT make progress seem easier. The doesn't seem to be any detail not mentioned. I think to myself, I wonder if they will mention this detail.......and sure enough they do. And much more I didn't know. I am learning a lot.

A.H.I.T. is fantastic!
The online portion of this course was incredibly thorough. There are 10 sections each with several subtopics presented in an easy to understand way. There are slides, photos, diagrams, code checkbook images, and videos of real life inspections with detailed descriptions of what is being talked about. The online course recommends a minimum of 95.5 hours to complete, however, it took me 162.5 hours with note taking and working my job. The course keeps track of how long you are logged in and the percentage of the course that is completed which was helpful. The instructor that teaches the online portion is a true professional and he does a great job of not making it boring. The AHIT inspectors have performed thousands of inspections each and you can tell they know their stuff! I start live training tomorrow morning and I am very much looking forward to putting everything I learned through the online portion together.

On point from the beginning!
From the start of my experience was inquiring with one of AHIT reps about the Home Inspector Course. The AHIT rep was very helpful as I had many questions. The course was very detailed and educational. I thought the videos were very helpful and less monotonous than having to sit and read.

A great career for those who know construction already.
This is a great training option for those who want to get into home inspections. I have been around construction my whole life specifically with residential homes the most. I have learned more than I ever could have imagined with homes through this class.
