To resolve this as quickly and thoroughly as possible, we arranged replacement parts and a complimentary installer — not only to complete the installation, but also to ensure the replacement components were in good condition prior to handover. We also sent a small gift basket as a gesture of goodwill while the matter was being resolved.

Turns out it was me all along.
I had a (very minor) issue with the chair when I was assembling it, and mentioned it in a review. Someone from the company phoned me to find out what they could do to help. Turned out there was nothing wrong with the chair, just me being an idiot while assembling it. The person who called was brilliant and was prepared to do anything to help. The chair is terrific, by the way.
