Just had our new kitchen supplied and installed by Affordable. From start to finish it was a fantastic experience. We went with Affordable, Following a very good experience with our bathroom install a few years back.
Lorraine who helped us through the planning and selection process was so helpful and gave us great advice and support to make the right decisions.
Dave, our joiner did a superb job of the installation and continually asked how we wanted things to be finished, such as placement of sockets, positions of handles and other tweaks to get the very best out of the space.
All of the team who worked on our project were pleasant, friendly and well organised making the whole thing a positive experience.
Wouldn't hesitate to recommend or use again in future.

What Aftercare service . Take your money and run. Asked for help on an installation plunbing problem some 4 years after and was told no installers/fitters available for at least 2 months. Any good joiner/plumber can do an installation its ALL about the aftercare service and this company has NONE

Great service from our initial meeting with Craig at the BOD showroom to the final day of installation by the workmen who are a credit to the company.

We visited the Bridge of Don showroom as it was near to home. We were made very welcome there and allowed to wander about looking at the various products. We discussed our plans with the manager and within a few days decided to go ahead. Our bathroom was fully replaced within 4 weeks of our initial visit to the showroom.
The workmen were on site at 8am every day .They did a great job, tidied up at the end of the day and were a pleasure to have in the house. They were very helpful and discussed their plans with us regarding the placement of everything in the bathroom.
I would thoroughly recommend Affordable Kitchens and Bathrooms to anyone considering any upgrades.

Aggressive owner shouted at myself and my toddlers for parking close to his business. Said it was for customers only when the signage is on the opposite side of street and no markings to say otherwise. Caused no inconvenience or blockage to him. My son was petrified. Horrible man. Avoid at all costs as I’d hate to see how he hands customers with genuine complaints. Very scary

From the design process to final installation, the entire process was first class.
The end product certainly met our expectations and indeed exceeded them with excellent workmanship. The two tradesmen were a credit to the company.
In summary, it has to be ten out of ten.

From 'robust' design to install this is by far the worst bathroom I could have imagined. The shower screen hits the sink making cleaning the bath a nightmare, your legs touch the bath when using the toilet. Everyone who has seen it has asked 'why would they do this?' Why indeed. But it doesn't end there, the finish at each end of the worktop is shoddy, the shower screen is falling apart and the silicone around the bath is lifting away entirely. A plumber has been round and advised it hasn't been fitted properly.
We were left without a working shower, told by the fitter it was faulty, however on contacting the manufacturer they advised it was a switch and the fitter simply hadn't read the instructions. They turned up when they wanted and left at 2pm every day.
Have contacted them about this and they couldn't care less. Do yourself a favour and go anywhere but here.

We had our en-suite bathroom renovated. Workers we very professional carried out the work to a good standard. Very helpful at the show room took care of almost all the work we needed.

We had a small mishap due to the old shower leaking the worker foot went through the floor into the dining room. But all repairs was carried out and mess all cleaned. Painting had to be done by me though. Would definitely use them again

All involved were friendly, experienced, and left a good standard of work. They kept upheaval to a minimum and cleaned up after themselves.
Lorraine in the showroom was friendly and welcoming and the job was arranged professionally and quickly.
All were very approachable, answering any questions I had.I would definitely use your company again and would recommend it to others. Excellent all round service.

Having ordered a replacement for our tiny en-suite bathroom (some 11ft by 7ft) at a quote of £7600, and left a deposit of £2600, my 81 year old wife decided that she could not cope with the huge amount of mess and disruption that the saleswoman had repeatedly insisted would occur with the work.
The original quote contained two items of interest - Providing a skip for £650 and providing plastic sheeting for £250.
Within 24 hours we returned to the shop to cancel the order. The woman in charge offered to reduce the price by £350 but my wife still believed that she could not cope so we asked them to go ahead and cancel it.
We were then informed, a few days later that:-
“As the stock is due in to us today, we can cancel the installation side but not the actual goods as they are special order and we will incur handling charges if returned.”
We were later informed we would have to pay the cost of returning them but that, as a gesture of goodwill, the cost would be reduced from 40% to 30%.
After a few weeks they informed us that this cost would amount to £633 and, somewhat reluctantly, we agreed to pay this to avoid prolonging the stress being caused to my wife.
Despite numerous contacts, they had not returned the money two months later at which time our bank’s Fraud Dept had decided to recover the money for us directly.

I make no comment on this firm’s behaviour - the above facts speak for themselves..

The prospect of getting a new kitchen had been put off and off due to the prospect of all the choices we would have to make. When it couldn't be put off any longer we walked down to Affordable's showroom on Holburn Street to see what would be involved. Lorraine made us very welcome, listened to what we wished for and then showed us what was available. She then came out and measured the kitchen and produced a plan and views very promptly.
Having seen the plan and estimate we decided not to go for anymore quotes and stick with Affordable. So it was back to the showroom to select all the colours, materials and fittings. Lorraine made it very simple by selecting a few at a time which would go with the basic colour of the units. So all the selections weren't nearly as daunting as I imagined.
Having made our choices final plans and images were produced.
When the work began Alan and his colleagues got on with the job, finishing well within the estimated time. Alan was able to adapt the plans to our satisfaction and his ease when an unexpected problem emerged when the old units were removed. Very little mess spread beyond the kitchen into the rest of the house.
Everyone we dealt with at Affordable were very helpful and punctual. The units and fittings appear to be well made and should last.

Excellent service from design to installation.Workmen did a neat and tidy job and were very respectful of my wife's needs as she has mobility issues.
Bathroom is great and and we are really pleased with it-first class.

I had a new shower installed. Super efficient service from start to finish. Very pleased with the result - high standard of workmanship, great job!

Was thinking about revamping kitchen with a few changes and replacement sink, appliances and new door/drawer fronts. Really needed some guidance on what to do. Popped in to Holburn showroom, met Lorraine and from there on we had invaluable advice, ideas and suggestions. Lorraine guided us through the whole process and we felt very comfortable about placing an order. Fitters were great, arrived promptly at 8 a.m. each day and Dave worked so hard, also the other fitters were pleasant and helpful. The end result is beautiful. Have just to choose new flooring from Affordable too. Would thoroughly recommend. Thanks to everyone involved.

We recently got our bathroom renovated by the team at affordable and we are absolutely delighted.
From the advice in choosing our perfect bathroom to the installation it felt so easy and stress free.
The work that was carried out was excellent and even with an unexpected issue with our floorboards being rotten.
They continued to provide excellent service without any delays in the timescale of the installation.
They guys worked so hard and went above and beyond our expectations. We are so pleased with all the finer details and can’t believe its our bathroom!
I would definitely recommend them and in the future I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

When putting in a kitchen for the first time in over 20 years we went to a few different types of kitchen companies for quotes, local, national showrooms, DIY store type and local joiner. None cheap and some eye wateringly expensive. For reference we have a standard sized kitchen and weren’t looking to move things about, just wanted a fresh modern kitchen with new appliances. Neil in the BOD showroom not only had a lovely non-pretentious manner but really knew his stuff. After our design/quote (£1500 cheaper than next nearest quote and actually doing more, water feed for fridge, moving radiator etc) we went back to choose colours, worktop etc. Neil was so very patient and helpful with us because we didn’t know really what we wanted! At the time of fitting everyone turned up as expected and reassuringly all in company vans. Davie and fitting team were top class and kept me informed as they went along which was nice. I did have a few snag list type things at the end which Ryan (head office) kindly dealt with, got sorted and kept me informed throughout. End result - we’re really pleased and happy to recommend Affordable Kitchens

Shocking!!
Not used them myself, but my mother did. After thinking she would treat herself to a new kitchen, since her last one was from the 80s.
Original sales and initial installation went quite well and looked good, but in the end the job was never fully completed as was agreed and paid for, as the walls were never skimmed and painted.
Also later, my mother’s tumble drier went out with a bang.
Upon investigation from a 3rd party, it was found that some of the installation was not to spec, with the potential for electrocution or fire.
To be fair, this was promptly corrected, but even then made no effort to finish the job as was promised and paid for, or even replace the tumble drier, that was damaged by their wiring.
Extremely poor customer care, considering their customer was in her late 70s, but very happy to take your money, which in the end makes them no more affordable than any of the other kitchen fitters.
