Great experience with Afficient
We’ve had a great experience with Afficient. The self-learning system has helped my child become more independent and confident in learning. The courses are well balanced—challenging enough to keep them engaged without being overwhelming.
What I’ve noticed most is the increase in my child’s motivation to study. They’re more willing to learn and enjoy working through the lessons on their own. We’re very happy with the progress and would definitely recommend Afficient to other families.

Do not use efficient English
Imagine you worked for hours and hours on something and one small mistake makes all your work disappear.This is what it’s like on efficient English. I was on a hundred percent and the what happens I get something wrong and I get kicked back to like 60% all those hours of work all gone instant. Do not use this website if you do not like the kind of feeling I am feeling right now. Ps:I have the English level of High school and efficient English here makes me look like grade four the current grade mine.

We understand that you are upset about your score dropping because you made mistakes.
In the Afficiency session, which is the last session before passing a grade, your score for the grade can go up and down depending on your overall accuracy rate of all skills of the grade.
For example, if you currently have a score of the grade of 90, you have to answer 9 questions correctly out of 10, and can only make 1 mistake in following 10 questions to maintain the current score, or else your accuracy rate will go down.
You need to remain highly focused on mastering the materials. Making mistakes and the score going down indicates weaker areas for you to improve. This is just a part of the learning process, and we advise you not to stress over it.
Your starting grade level is determined by your performance on the Diagnostic Test. If you think your starting grade was set to 4th grade by mistake, we suggest you contact your Account Manager, arrange to retake a Diagnostic Test, and adjust your starting grade. However, no matter your starting grade, it offers an immense opportunity to address your skill gaps and master the material, which will be highly beneficial to you in your academic career.”

Efficient online study
My sons are using Afficient Academy for their math and English. As in summer bread, they are spending several hours every week on it. They want to achieve 100% target. And it is online training. they can learn whenever they are ok to study and I don't need to drive them to summer camp. It is efficient.

The platform first uses AI to assess the child’s current level, then provides personalized lessons and practice based on the assessment results. Since everything can be done from home, the schedule is very flexible.
We’ve heard that students can complete the equivalent of a school semester’s coursework in about a month. It’s been an interesting learning tool for our family.

I enrolled my twin boys in Afficient…
I enrolled my twin boys in Afficient during the pandemic because I simply didn’t have enough time to focus on their day-to-day education. Over the years, the program has helped them develop strong self-learning habits, independence, and self-discipline. They have enjoyed (also struggled) both the English and Math programs, as the result it has enabled them to advance well beyond their grade-level expectations in both subjects.

Stressful and expensive
I was expecting much more. This is like IXL, but more brutal and with less explanations. I don't understand how a child is supposed to learn when every session just feels like a timed exam.
My child was very discouraged with this system. You move forward fast, but one error sends you flying back, sometimes further than where you started. Since each question is timed, he felt a lot of pressure to answer quickly, so he didn't double check his work as much a he should have. It just ended up being a nightmare.
I was also unaware that all of the one on one and supervised sessions were in a different time zone. This if definitely something I should have asked about before payment.
Overall this isn't great for a kid with performance or test anxiety.

Thank you for sharing your feedback regarding your child's first few weeks of experience with Afficient Math.
We reviewed your child's progress since joining Afficient Math less than three weeks ago and are pleased to report that he has made excellent progress. In just over two weeks and approximately eight hours of practice, he reached the target score of 95 and successfully completed his first grade!
In the final stage of completing a grade, called the Afficiency Session, the system evaluates the student's overall accuracy in solving problems. The target score of 95 represents a 95% accuracy rate. Throughout the Afficiency Session, the student's score rises or falls based strictly on the accuracy rate. For example, if the student's current accuracy rate is 90%, he must answer more than 9 out of the next 10 questions correctly to improve his score; otherwise, the score will decrease. At this stage, students must remain highly focused and demonstrate mastery of the material to reach the target.
Congratulations to your son! After investing approximately 2–3 hours in the Afficiency Session, he successfully passed the grade level. His performance indicates that his mastery of the skills in this grade has been substantially strengthened, providing a solid foundation as he advances to the next grade level.

This website is just pure bs. It takes so long to just so like a 0.01 score and is so laggy that I have to restart my computer every 2 minutes or so. Very bad idea and whoever thought of it should sell this company to Google to make it better.

After using Afficient for a while
After using Afficient for a while, I’ve seen a huge improvement in my child’s learning. One of the biggest advantages is that the AI can quickly identify his weak areas and adjust the learning content based on his needs. Instead of repeatedly practicing things he already knows, he now spends more time improving the skills he actually struggles with.
What I really appreciate is that Afficient is not just about doing more exercises. The system guides him step by step and gives immediate feedback when he makes mistakes, which helps him understand concepts more clearly and keeps him motivated.
I’ve also noticed that my child has become much more confident and independent in learning. Before, I often needed to remind him to study, but now he is more willing to learn on his own and even enjoys challenging himself with harder questions. My daughter is currently in 4th grade. When she first started with Afficient, the assessment showed she needed to begin with 3rd-grade math. In less than four months, she completed the 5th grade level. Before, she did not enjoy doing math problems very much, but now she really likes math and feels motivated to learn. The program has greatly improved her interest and confidence. Even when she faced challenges, she worked hard and felt very proud after reaching her goals. Now she can’t wait to start 6th grade math.
