Basura de servicio post venta. No gracias, no me habéis ayudado.
95€ for an empty parcel
I ordered a Jesse Hemp Mini Dress and was surprised to see my order had been dispatched so quickly. The order arrived within 2 days however the parcel I received was empty with a receipt for my purchase only. 95€ for a plastic bag and no item of clothing. I have contacted customer services with photos of my parcel, awaiting response.
Ignored because I wanted to return an item
I bought two shirts from Afends, the quality is good (good, not great).
The first disappointment was that even though I ordered two shirts in medium, one of them was absolutely tiny. There was no way I could even try to put it on. Shouldn’t the sizing across items be a bit more consistent?
When I contacted the company to return the tiny shirt I was told that they issue the shipping label for returns and I will only get online store credit, on top of this they will deduct $10 from this store credit for handling / shipping fees.
I agreed to this unfair policy and asked them to issue the shipping label.
Since then I have not heard from this company even though I’ve emailed them again to remind them to issue the printing label.
Is this your way of keeping returns low? You just don’t issue the shipping labels when customers ask for them?
For any potential customers, I advise you to avoid this company. There are similar companies out there with nicer products who won’t scam and ghost you.

Complètement déçu de cette marque , deuxième t shirt que je commande et la qualité est la pire de toute . J’appellerais ça afends la marque de vêtement jetable ! Porte une fois le tissus est tellement fragile des petits trous se forment avant même de l’avoir lavé , c’est la première fois que je vois ça ! En plus votre marque n’est vraiment pas là moins chère , je suis d’accord sur l’idée de la fabrication avec des matières qui respectent la planète uniquement si on peut les porter plus d’une fois sinon ça s’appelle du « jetable » ! Très déçu !

Beware AFENDS returns policy
AFENDS returns policy if you buy it on sale is to give you a gift card worth less than what you spent. No ifs or buts. In my case spent $65, (-$55 shirt, $10 shipping) sent back shirt next day in perfect condition, they returned $45 on a gift card you must respend with them, no other choice. Said only “It’s our policy” when I questioned the fairness. They took the shirt back to resell and made $20. Now I have to spend $45 on AFENDS product I don’t want. Feel totally ripped off.

Beware! I returned two items to Afends and received a refund for only one item so I have lost €30!
I initially wanted to send back just the pants that I ordered for which they sent me a label and then I asked if I could send the top too thus I emailed them to request a new label. The customer service agent said that this wasn't necessary so I sent the items back using the old label. Now they're saying they did not get the second item and I suspect customs removed the top since it wasn't declared. So €30 gone and also my trust in this company. I will not be ordering from them again.

I’m surprised by all the negative reviews here, my experience was very good.. So I’m a sucker for sustainable fabric & saw this afends tie dye shirt in a store it was $90.. nearly bought it but thought I’d check out online. Found it was on sale for $40 online!! Bought 3x shirts total for around $85 (saving over $200!!) Was shipped very promptly & received next day! Super super impressed. The T-shirt’s are lovely but no way I would pay full price for them. All these foreigners whinging about the return fee for shipping are unbelievable! Unless you’re a huge corporation like Amazon etc these things aren’t cheap!! If I had to make a return I would have no problem paying the return shipping. It’s the risk you take with online shopping!!

I wanted some shorts, and I received a $25 off coupon code for my first purchase. I ordered the shorts, paid $70 ($95 original price), and went about my business.
15 days later, and the shorts have not shipped. Worried, I emailed them to see where they were.
Immediately, I get a refund for $70. I check my email, and they sent me a reply saying that I did not pay the full amount, so they did not process my order. Why did they not tell me so 15 days before....? Anyways, I ignored that and replied, saying that I had paid $70 because I had a coupon. The coupon was a one-time use, so I did not want to order the shorts again and pay $95 instead of $70.
So, they reply, give me a new code, and say to re-order the shorts now. I go to re-order the shorts, only to see my refund was taken away! So now I am out $70 again, AND my shorts are not coming.
So... AGAIN I email them. When they reply, the shorts have magically shipped! So I am thinking, ok, this is finally over, my refund was taken away and the shorts are coming.
Finally, the shorts arrive. They are fine, I cannot complain about their quality. But, my $70 refund has come back! Now they are hounding me with emails and invoices saying to pay them. So, now I have to go and wire them money, waste time from my day, AND pay a $10 surcharge to wire the money internationally..... So I am now out $80. Should never have wasted my time.
*Update …. it actually costs $45 to wire internationally. So I paid an additional $45 for their mistake. Total scam.
Items out of stock after ordering
I made an order at Afends.com, got charged but did not hear anything for more than a week. I contacted the customer service who informed me that the item was out of stock and I would get a redound in a few days. A few weeks later I got notified that the item was back in stock. I tried to order it again and this time I had to wait over two weeks before learning that again, the item was out of stock. It looks like they lost track of their products

1. Bad size guide (it runs small. I am a size 24 in pants, but I had such a hard time putting the jeans on. Although it fits but a bit tightly after I put it on, it is nearly impossible to take it off without help from my boyfriend).
2. Bad customer service. I tried to contact them through both Facebook and email, but received no reply after ~4 days.

I wanted to try out this brand, you know...be sustainable. I ordered two pairs of the same pants because I was unsure about their sizing as I have never purchased from them before. This is normal for any new online clothing purchase.
So, I placed the order, then I happened to look at their return policy. I guess I should have read their incredibly long list of terms of conditions before I made the order. I thought I was ordering pants, not leasing a flat...
The customer pays 10 Euros for return shipping or you receive a store credit. What year is it? What market is Afend existing in?
Your customers are already paying a ridiculously high price for your products and then the customer has to eat the 10 Euros or Afends keeps the money in their system as a store credit. I contacted customer service immediately via email and their site contact form to request they cancel my order and I also mentioned how it's ridiculous that the customer has to pay the return shipping of 10 euros. This is especially ridiculous because shipping in Germany is cheap (DHL with tracking would be 4,99 euro). They would either be making a profit from the return shipping or having the client essentially pay for the original shipping.
Afend's response was to reprimand me by writing out their non-cancellation policy in the email. Luckily, they cancel my order, but acted like they were doing me a favor.....the order was made on a Sunday evening and I wrote the email within 5 minutes of making the order. The order wasn't processed by 9 am Monday morning, they aren't Amazon. Also, Afends didn't mention anything about the return shipping being a joke.
Shockingly bad customer service with a mega attitude. Does Afends know they are in a business that requires customer interaction? I wanted to check if I was the only one that received such bizarrely rude customer service, low and behold, I found other negative reviews saying the same thing. I would suggest some major customer service training and an attitude adjustment for Afends. Best of luck with your business model of putting all the costs on your customers and having a mean girl's attitude.
Terrible online service, but nice service in store.
A glitch on the website meant it ordered the wrong pair of pants from what I had selected to purchase. Had contacted them within seconds to try fix order but gave me my only option to apply for refund or refuse package. When contacting team they gave me very misleading instructions and deducted some of my money from me, when contacting them to ask as to why some of my money had been deducted they had a very “tough luck” and “it’s not my problem” attitude. I would’ve hoped they would’ve tried to resolve this blunder but instead after going back and forth trying to argue with me for multiple emails they began to blame me for the order error.
Would not recommend to anyone, very difficult to deal with and shocking attitude towards customers. If only online were as good with customers as shop staff are.

I was hesitant after reading a few of these reviews BUT the parcel came 10 days after ordering. From Australia to the UK with free shipping and pre-warned delays I think this is a very reasonable indeed. The product itself it lovely with information about how every single aspect is sustainable. If you have the extra few coins I would highly recommend shopping here (even if not they have some great sale items frequently).
Won't order again
I liked the idea of a sustainable brand and ordered from Europe. It took an eternity until it arrived (around 5 weeks). Also, sizing was very weird so I had to send back almost everything. Then, refunds policy is a joke - they deduct 10 $ but indicate free shipping (only if you search for it specifically, it gives you the information that it's 10 $). Lastly, it took them 4 (!) weeks to process my return after its arrival at their warehouse and only when I asked about it, I got a return notification.
Quality of clothes is good though. If there was a physical store somewhere, I would probably be a customer there but I'll definitely never order again.

I am still waiting on my order from the 23rd on January, it is now the 3rd of March. I am really disappointed as it says on their website that European deliveries should take about 15 day, it has been 39 days so far for me.. I really wanted to order from this website as it is sustainable but i dont think I will be again.

I wanted to give it a lower rating but the clothes that I received were high quality and super cute. I got: a men's long sleeve, an overall dress and a playsuit. Unfortunately I didn't read the reviews about sizing - it's definitely true! Australians must run small - I'm usually an S but sized up (M) for the overall dress and it fits perfectly. I didn't size up for the playsuit and my butt cheeks are hanging out haha. The quality is really nice, the hemp long sleeve is super soft and cozy, the overall dress looks durable. The playsuit was a bit meh as there were some threads poking out here and there. I live in Europe and it took about a month for everything to arrive, so even if I wanted to return the playsuit, I couldn't - and when I contacted customer service (which was great btw) they could only offer me a discount code. It was over the christmas holiday though so that could be the reason. That is the reason I wanted to give it a lower rating but the clothes are too cute. I also love that they're sustainable. Just try to work on delivery and customer service.
