Aeros Flight Training Omdömen 7

I started flight training with Aeros back in 2021 in their Wellesbourne base, did some training at Coventry but finished some 6 months later back in Wellesbourne.

I then decided to go for a commercial licence and did my ATPL theory in Gloucester full time. Thanks to some awesome theoretical knowledge instructors, I passed both my EASA and CAA exams with a great average. During my theory, I did my night rating at their Cardiff base, which was amazing. Flying at night at an international airport.

I finished my instrument rating and commercial pilots licence in Gloucester in a really short timescale. Plenty of availability and lots of great flight instructors.

I have now just done my type rating and will be working as an FO at a Luton based carrier on the Airbus. I started in my mid forties and have a decent second career, based on getting finished quickly.

I had an incredible training experience with Aeros. No upfront payments, no delays, the best instructors and modern aircraft.

From start to finish Aeros have been excellent. If you want control over your training and your training to be done in 18 months then this is the place for you.

Testifying to what other reviews have said - when doing a recent lesson, the CFI shouted at me when asking for, get this - instruction! There is an absolute arrogance of this man who clearly forgets that he is teaching students that have thousands of hours less flying experience than him. He clearly lacks any form of patience or passion for what he is doing. All in all in has resulted in a very bitter experience for something that is supposed to be an incredibly enjoyable journey for budding future commercial pilots.

EDIT: Aeros have tried to force me through Trust pilot to give up personal information to discredit this review, as you'll see from their unprofessional response below. However, I very much was a genuine customer and have shared with them instructor names and the head of operations to validate my experience.

Shouted at by the CFI!

This flight school says how good it is but its instructors are lazy, unhelpful and if you are unfortunate enough to get put with the CFI at Gloucester you get shouted at and spoke to like a child, his ego is off the scale. I will take my money elsewhere and complete my IR!!!

Insulting and arrogant staff. Acted as if I was troubling their day and to hurry up with my inquiry. Find this quite often in British aerospace. I will keep my £5,000.00 flying budget in my pocket.

During my time at Aeros I had great training from start to finish and can’t thank Zack at Aeros enough for all his help throughout my time there, I have recommended Aeros to several friends who have now started there.

If you like being shouted at by the CFI during a lesson this is the school for you, lack of communication, bad organisation skills and instructors that either have a massive ego (the CFI) or are too laid back and assume you know everything. I ended up here out of desperation but other worthy schools about.
