We'd been spending quite a bit of money…

We'd been spending quite a bit of money on heat pump appointments previously and to be honest a lot of them weren't going anywhere. Plenty of time wasted chasing customers who weren't really ready to proceed.

Things improved when Eldor changed the way they worked and started dealing with homeowners themselves before passing jobs over to us. Rather than just another appointment, we were getting customers who'd already made a commitment to going ahead.

It made the whole process much more straightforward and gave us more confidence to push the renewables side of the business further with TSM Energy. Having a more predictable way of bringing in work makes a big difference when you're trying to grow.

Do not trust AdXcelerator

Do not trust AdXcelerator – my personal experience with their EV charger lead service

Do not trust this company without carrying out your own detailed checks first. I am sharing my personal experience so other electrical contractors can make an informed decision before committing their money.

On Friday 24th April 2026, I was cold called by a representative named Eldor from AdXcelerator, who offered 20 EV car charger installation job leads at £50 per lead, costing £1,000 in total.

During the conversation, I explained that I wanted time to think about the offer and that I would get back to him on Sunday 26th April 2026. After the phone call, I received confirmation that they would provide 20 EV charger leads within 72 hours.

After proceeding with the service, I found that the process was not as straightforward as it was presented during the initial sales call. I was later informed that customer EV Charger usage and consumption information would be required before EV charger installations could move forward. This is backwards as you cant get the information unless you have already installed the Ev Chargers , obtaining this data from customers can be inconvenient and create delays for both the engineer and the customer.

My concern is that these requirements and conditions were not made clear during the initial sales conversation. The service was presented as providing EV charger installation leads, but additional information requirements were introduced afterwards which affected the ability to progress the opportunities.

I would strongly advise other contractors to ask detailed questions before paying for any lead service. Make sure you understand that I wasn’t able to get him on the phone after I gave him my money; he didn’t answer the phone and would send repetitive emails requesting the usage and consumption of the EV charger over the day, month and years. Make sure you understand exactly what you are receiving, what qualifies as a lead, and what responsibilities are placed on you before entering into any agreement.

This review is based on my own experience and the issues I encountered with the service provided. Hopefully this helps someone from wasting their time and hard-earned money.

AdXcelerator primarily operates within the Solar PV and Heat Pump sectors. While we also consider EV charger projects, all prospective installation partners are required to meet our qualification and onboarding standards before customer opportunities can be progressed.

These requirements exist for a reason. We work directly with homeowners and have a responsibility to ensure that any installation company we introduce them to has the appropriate credentials, operational capability and supporting documentation.

In your particular case, the necessary onboarding information was not completed despite our requests for the relevant details. Unfortunately, this prevented us from progressing the partnership as intended.

We appreciate that the onboarding process may involve additional administration. However, these checks are an essential part of how we operate and are not requirements we can simply overlook.

We also recognise the importance of communicating all requirements clearly from the outset and continually review our processes to ensure expectations are properly understood.

We remain open to reviewing your outstanding concerns, including your refund request, in accordance with the agreed terms. Should the required documentation be provided, we would also be happy to reassess your eligibility to work with us.
