Advance America is always there when needed. For family emergency, for a gift for someone or any other thing. Customer service on point and they even offer good deals from time to time!

I’m very unhappy with the service an I would appreciate it if you could stop sending me emails your employees do not listen and deposited my check without my knowledge and my check returned causing me to be in default and charges were assed to my account

I suggest that you read the contract before you sign and ask yes and no questions. Especially in this location! The store manager needs more training with dealing with clients or not be there at all. The store manager misinformed me in when I can pay back the advance the next day in a different location without any penalties.It literally took me 2 hrs to pay off the advance do to the store manager at Pleasant Hill incompetence. She made it difficult, extremely inconvenient and very irritating. She was insisting that I had to come to her location in Pleasant Hill to make a payment when my specific question was to her if I was able to pay at the location by my house in El Cerrito and she responded YES then I asked her if I can pay the next day without any penalties and she answered YES. In fact her answers were false, it took her GM to get involved and still insisting that I had to come to her location in Pleasant Hills to pay the next day. But I read the contract and it states that if you canceled the contract you have to go to the same location and return documents and the money. Which I was not doing, I just wanted to pay it off. The only reason why the EC office was not able to transfer my file was because of a 24hr period for the cancellation period. meaning that I was able to pay without any fees but only the location of the initial advance (PH.) Well they were trying to avoid me paying that day and insisting to come 2 days after so they can collect the fees but only at their location. I was not having this nonsense. I stayed in the EC location past their closing time to just leave the payment there, the SM finally said after speaking to her GM, To just leave the payment in EC and that they will mail it back to PH. Bad customer service and bad experience.

Office staff is super friendly. No long line waits so far. Usually in and out with 5 minutes. Simple to apply and get the money you need. This is the only payday advance company I will ever use.
