I've had a very positive experience with Microsoft Advertising. The platform is intuitive, the targeting options are well-structured, and it's easy to manage campaigns across different regions efficiently and affordably.

Setup my account with MS ads. I setup my account, clicked to make an Ad- got interupted with an email to verified my ID- clicked to verify- got another email 1 second later-
They suspended my account for "egregious reasons" for ** no reason given **
Appealed stating I cannot have violated basically any of the items listed on there why, because I haven't had a chance to even make an ad. At best mayyyybe there was a typo in info about advertiser identity so that its "inacurate", but I doubt it I checked the info pretty closely. But not like you can review any of if it in order to correct it; and they don't tell you what your supposed violation even is. My appeal was rejected. I guess they don't want anyone spending money with them. I guess ill stick with your competitor Google. Although by the Looks of their steller reviews- its hardly a competition.

accidentally 3 accounts got created and they rejected all the accounts. After 48h the account randomly got verified and then the imported ads went life. Literally lost 200 USD in 1 hour for ads that went active out of nowhere! Be CAREFUL. THEY ACTIVATE ADS OUT OF NOWHERE IN THE BEGINNING

Pésimo el servicio al cliente. Uno trata de acercarse y ser cliente de ellos pero el primer requisito es colocarles una tarjeta débito o crédito a su disposición o sino de inmediato lo bloquean. Igualmente así uno cumpla con ese requisito luego se van a valer de cualquier pretexto para bloquear la cuenta dando un montón de razones y sin ser específicos. Las razones que dan las expresan en términos bastante abusivos tratándolo a uno como un delincuente siendo tan miope su equipo de seguridad que no sabe bien distinguir entre un empresario que pretende ser cliente y un delincuente.

Setup my 1st and ONLY account with duckgo and they use MS ads for their ads. I setup my account, verified my ID. Then, I didn't even finish setting up my account, along with NOT creating any Ads, and then they:

suspended my account for "egregious reasons" for ** no reason given ** and I read this is common!

What is going on here? My website was based on advertising my individual health service so maybe there's censorship going on?

I thought duckgo was against censorship?

Anyway, MS ads really sucks and is very arbitrary and vague in why they suspend accounts even after verification?

Are they perhaps only gathering information for data mining?

I would not choose them for advertising!

A parade of horrors. Setting up an account was needlessly difficult. I called support and they took forever to do the most basic things. Then my business credit card kept getting rejected for no reason and the issue was clearly on their end (because I use that card for all sorts of stuff and my bank didn't say there was any issues). Called support again and they said they'd help. Next thing I know my account is blocked for some supposed "egregious policy violation" but they give no reason at all for this. Instead they send a long laundry list of bullet points for reasons why this could happen but NONE of them apply to me. If you're gonna block me, tell me why so I can fix it!!! Then I try to appeal but to do that I need to verify identity. No problem, I upload a bunch of supporting documentation. And then a few days later they say I "failed" ID verification and once again give ZERO EXPLANATION for this failure. They clearly don't know what they're doing and don't want my business. No wonder their whole company is such crap compared to real tech companies like Google. Just awful!

Tengo casi un año usando Microsoft ADS, para pago de publicidad para varios giros, a principios de mes puse el saldo del mes 800 usd a los dos días bloquearon la cuenta y se quedaron con todo el saldo, ni soporte ni saldo ni cuenta es por eso que no pueden competir con otras plataformas más serias como Facebook o Google ADS no dan claridad ni atención al cliente.

I have been advertising with other platforms for over 5 years now. I decided to try Bing. Account setup seemed fine, submitted all the necessary documents to then have it suspended before running a single advert! The support staff are useless as cannot give out any information! Tried to appeal but it was rejected and they give such a large list of items that it doesn't give you any idea of what it could be. Don't waste your time, just stick to the proven platforms.

"After a thorough review, we have reviewed your appeal request of Manager Account XXXXX and determined the account is in violation of the Microsoft Advertising Egregious Policy. "

Extremely unsettling experience, like so many others I received the seemingly obligatory "Violation of Egregious Policy" email with no clear explanation. Submitted a form to file a dispute, spoke with someone on chat and in person twice. The human support was very understanding but they have no power to do anything. Most of all I want my name cleared AND an apology from Microsoft. There is apparently no way of getting into your account (one I had only minutes ago created before being booted out of the system) and no way of deleting it. The support staff told me that if it isn't used, after 15 months it will automatically be deleted---WHAT? That's nuts. I have a Microsoft Surface Studio and several Surface Books. This experience has soured my taste for all of their products. Moved to Google Ads and had them up and running in less than 24 hours. As I always seek to find the benefits in every situation, I will consider this a blessing in disguise. Over and out.

DO NOT USE! I went to log in and out of the blue, had my account locked. I called support and they said that your account is locked with no appeal and have broken the policy of Egregious Violations.

They sent me a list of items that is included in this violation and then I asked them to explain what I breached because I hadn't done any of this with the campaigns I was running. They said that they don't have the specifics and it's irrevocable.

I then asked if I was understanding correctly:
1. You have locked my account
2. You can't tell me the specifics of the incident that has lead to this violation because the team that investigated this is a back office team only
3. You can't re-instate my account

The response to this was 'that's correct and I'm sorry'.

What a joke of a platform and no wonder Google is taking them to the cleaners. Well, Google you happy to give you all my budget

Completely shameful. After years of advertising with them all of a sudden, my account poses a serious risk to other advertisers and all my accounts are suspended for "Egregious Violations". They don’t want to explain anything, it’s all final. Years of my work and effort down the drain, my small business now needs to be sold. Please join the change.org petition to make these digital gatekeepers do better.

Same as many many many others have written!! absolute joke!! I am now 2 months into trying to get my ads account up and running and have had nothing but issues....

Account blocked for no reason, took ages to resolve that and nobody knew why.... couldn't verify my account even though i sent all the correct documents... Help center guy said just try again... did it all again and still did not go through and nobody knows why..

So today I have closed my account, and doubled my advertising budget with Google...

I created a Microsoft Advertising account, verified my identity, added funds to my account, and tried to run my first ad. Right after that, I got an email saying my account had been suspended due to 'Violation of Egregious Policy'. It doesn't tell you what you did wrong though, it just gives you a list of potential reasons, none of which I had actually violated.

I appealed it and spoke to the customer service team over chat. They said my account hadn't violated any policies and the suspension should be lifted in a couple of weeks.

A couple of weeks later, I got an email saying that they had reviewed my account and the suspension was lifted because I hadn't violated any policies. Then 2 hours after that, I got another email saying that my account was suspended again due to 'Violation of Egregious Policy'. I hadn't even logged into it in this time to do anything. The second appeal was unsuccessful and the chat team couldn't give me any information as to why it was suspended.

I decided to make another account using a different email address. I did everything right again, verified my identity, and lo and behold, I got suspended again. I hadn't even tried to run any ads this time. It seems like just making an account is enough to get you suspended.

Don't waste your time with Microsoft. Just go straight to Google.

When I contacted support, they simply cut and pasted the same old mantra, "Your ad account is in violation of the Microsoft Advertising Egregious Policy"

If you try to find out what policy exactly, they won't or can't tell you.

We're a small family catering company who's been going 15 years. We've had a Microsoft Business 365 account for a few years and have successfully advertised on Google for 10 years.

We stupidly thought we would easily do the same with Bing. But how wrong were we.

For anyone else wanting to advertise on Bing. I'd say don't bother. In the end it's just not worth the hassle.

Tried to advertise my transport company, been rejected each time, saying I broke rules. No explanation on sample on my advert what is wrong, only generic information, pointing several rules I apparently broke. I need proper explanation by pointing : this is wrong in your advert, please fix this... but generic information sounds for me like in foreign language, no clue what that mean. My company is transport courier, for UK and EU, and as attachment I gave my licence, as a company document - why it is wrong. It also says something about payments - I made payment and used my business account - what is wrong with that??? All this looks for me as a unreal, fake advertainment provider, if I cannot advert my transport company, using my documents, my business account and website. Not happy with this at all!

for online shop selling genuine products from renowned brands in the segment of interior design and toys for children and children's clothing. without any clear reason. Had to contact support 3 times before any clarification was given. After opening the 3rd support request, feedback was finally given.... But only to say that the shop violates the MS Ads policy and the account cannot be approved. No clear answer why, just not in line with policy.... I mean we sell typical genuine products that are not offensive in any way... Google.ads does a great job and wanted to complement this solution. But not a possible way to go!!! Indeed disappointed on the service and feedback!!!

My ads account was locked out and when I contacted support was told that my account had been permanently disabled, that they could not tell me why, that my $600 ad credit would be lost, and that their decision was final. I was only running a very basic ad for my Tiny Home company and did not violate any policies.

When I challenged them to provide a reason and asked to speak with a supervisor or manager I was shut down and sent an email stating my account had been permanently disabled and that I could not challenge the decision.

Totally Incompetent! Our shopping campaign was rejected, used chat and phone to eventually get it to be reviewed as they said nothing was wrong with it. Said it would be 5-10 days. It's been over 3 weeks.
They arranged a call on a Tuesday to show us how it works, and they never made the call as 'technical problems'...comforting. They apologized and rearranged the call for the following Thursday a week later, and again we've had no call...but the have called us to apologize for the first one so they have all our details.
Now my emails are just being ignored...we're just trying to spend some money with them!!!
Useless, absolutely USELESS.

No customer support. My account got suspended seconds after opening it. No explanation, tried to call them, no chance to talk to someone. Second worst experience after Google Ads.

Microsoft changed what my company does on my ads! I have a design company and Microsoft changed my ads to say that I was a construction company so every click that I got was someone looking for something else! Nowhere on my ads or website does it even say construction! They stole my money! Then they said anyone who opens an account and spent $100 on ads In June of this year would get an added $500 for ads. A lie. I spent 2 days talking to them and sending the info about my messed up ads and trying to receive the offer. They didn’t fix anything or give me the offer! That offer was the only reason I started doing ads with them in the first place and that I heard they were cheap but I pay much less using google ads! I should have read the reviews about this first but with a company like Microsoft you don’t think you need to.
