Replacement Acer V3-731 battery purchase

The battery I've purchased appears to be a good product (only had it a few days) and at a good price, delivered quickly.
I discovered all the bad reviews only after I'd purchased and I thought I'd made a big mistake given the lack of positive reviews and would probably regret my decision to buy from them.
However, I've received what appears an apparently good quality and well packaged battery, that matches the description. It is compatible with my laptop and was charged sufficiently on arrival to power-up my laptop.
I do not regularly write reviews, but given my concerns and apprehension on seeing such bad reviews for this company felt the need to 'speak as I find' and say that I'm a very satisfied UK based customer.

Good procuct , good price, delivered in time

Despite all the bad reviews, this company has delivered a decent battery, just in time, well packed. From printings on the battery I assume the battery is manufactured in the same factory as the original Acer batteries. My intermediate communication with the company was polite, relevant and timely. I 'm a real buyer living in Utrecht, The Netherlands that is happy to have just given his dear laptop a second life!

DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY

Do not deal with these people.
Ordered a battery.They sent a different one and although they said it would work ok I asked for a refund.
They wanted me to send it to a private address in the UK. When I telephoned this individual it was someone who had ordered a battery from acerlaptopbattery!!. Shady practice!!
Give them a wide berth

Order received but....

It was not so great as the tracking number for my parcel didn't work when I typed it in so I went into mini panic mode and started reading the reviews on here. As a lot of you said it isn't worth it and that not many have recieved their parcel, I started asking for a refund. Thankfully, I got my acer battery the next day. I must say, it is useful. However, I do have to ever so frequently replug the battery charger so it's not good quality compared to my original one. I have given it 2 stars for them delivering the order efficiently. But the service was rubbish coz they never were around for an online chat to help nor did they reply to my emails on time (only replied much later after the delivery arrived) nor did they give a tracking number that actually worked nor is the battery of good quality.

Will not honour website guarantees and warranties

Battery took a lot longer to arrive than promised. I fitted it into my laptop the next day and it would not charge The orange charging light flashed on and off instead of being constantly on. After many hours charging nothing. As soon as I unplugged the charger my laptop shut down. I opened it up, checked all of the connections and closed it up again. Would not charge.

I have been in email contact for 5 or 6 weeks now but nothing. I have reminded them of their website promises and guarantees and their responsibilities under various distance selling regulations etc. but still nothing. I completed an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorisation) form a week ago but absolutely no response.

This is the response from Portsmouth Trading Standards. Looks like they are on the case.

"The situation at E10 Voyager Park, Portsmouth is quite a convoluted one. A Chinese owned fulfilment house did operated from that address for several years, in that time this authority became aware of a number of websites purporting to be UK based and using this address for returns. The company had no arrangement with any of these websites to allow the use of their address.
The fulfillment house ceased trading last year and as you have indicated the premises are now vacant, so clearly the use of the address is misleading.
We have previously been successful in taking down some of these laptop battery sites, though as you would expect, they eventually crop up again under a different name. We are currently investigating a number of these."

THIS COMPANY IS NOT IN THE UK. Am getting sick of Chinese companies lying and saying there companies are in UK the government need to do something about this. I bought from these people because it stated uk so i ordered a new battery then i was sent tracking number. I checked tracking number 2 weeks later as it was taking a long time to come and still no information so emailed company and they said "sorry our product had to be sent from overseas because we haven't got your stock in warehouse" AVOID AVOID AVOID
If the company see this i want my refund please and change your address and stop LYING to customers you are not in the uk but China

No UK stock as adertised

I ordered a battery for my wife's computer who needs it for medical reasons. I only ordered it from this site because it stated UK stock. After 5 days I asked where my battery was and told it was coming from China!! I said they advertised UK stock which is very misleading and insisted to cancel order as a 3 week wait was hopeless. The story goes on and on and told as it was on it's way not to worry and send it to them when it was delivered and they will refund including the £7.50 tracked post they insisted on. I had to keep sending emails all the time, I eventually had a refund but not including postage!!! Now they refuse to reply to my emails.
ADVICE IS DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY AS YOU WILL WAIT WEEKS AS UK STOCK IS NOT HELD,other reviews tell exactly the same story.
For the first time I am going to report this experience to trading standards.

Do not use this company. They do not operate standard business servicing practices. You could lose your money!

I was led to believe from their website that the battery I required was in stock and the only location shown on their website was Portsmouth, UK. I ordered and paid for the item and was sent a confirmation order & tracking ref. It said the items was sent to Hermes on 27th March. 8 days later the information on Hermes hadn’t changed eg they were still waiting for the item! Acerlaptopbattery offer a 24 hour service level response for enquiries, and 4 emails in 4 days I received zero response. So I have no idea where it’s coming from and when it will arrive. They were quick to respond when I requested info prior to my order and on e they had my order and banked my money; but since then zero response. Companies like this should be outed across the Internet and prospective customers warned of their dubious selling practices.

NOT A UK COMPANY. BEWARE!

I ordered a battery on 8th January and they debited my credit card immediately. The next day they told me they couldn't deliver to a PO (Portsmouth) post code, so please change it. I told them I couldn't and pointed out that their own post code and address, according to their site, was also PO, so presumably they can't deliver to themselves? It turns out they are not UK based at all, and probably in China. They said they would refund but I heard nothing more, despite sending a reminder for each of the next three weeks. Finally I notified them that I would make a complaint through my credit card company, which I did a week later, having heard nothing. I week after that (15 Feb) I got a refund on my card statement, but nothing from the company.
My advice is avoid them like the plague.
