any problems we have get solved hassle free. Amy and the bookkeeping team have been amazing.

I have been with A&L for almost 3 years now and they have always been willing to go above and beyond to help with anything. Consistently on the ball and reliable on a month to month. Amy in particular is fantastic at communicating and can always be trusted to give me well informed, quick responses whenever I need her help! Would recommend for sure

We changed to A&L around 2 years ago and dealt with Darcie and Stuart - this moved on to us having Amy as our person in charge - she works with our SM8 set up to see when jobs are complete and allocates costs to jobs for us so we can see how we are getting on. We also have monthly meetings with Amy and/or Stuart to go over the figures and where they are coming from - they encouraged is to enrol with Dext and now just taking a photo of a receipt it is uploaded into our accounting package Xero ( well from our end it is) - all in all it has allowed us time to focus on other things in the business and also means that we are not worried about what might happen next as we are much better informed

We've been with Accounts and Legal for over 3 years now and everything has been going smoothly. They've always been prompt with notifications about tax code changes and their recommendations have been great. We can always get in touch when we need to and responses usually come very quickly.

Abysmal accounting firm. On four occassions my accountant has left the firm and I have only found out after my contact with them dropped and I called the office to check in only to be told they had left and that somebody else (who?) was now managing my accounts. There have been too many dropped balls and errors over the years and I have zero confidence in this firm to look after my best interests. Unfortunately I have been stuck with this company as they tried to rectify a mistake made with my accounts and through a protracted process of trying to wrap up my limited company otherwise I would have left long ago.

It pains me to write a slightly negative review as we've had past experiences with A&L which at the time was good. We went back to them the second time as our acting accountant retired. The second time around we found difficulty in anyone answering a call other than a receptionist taking a message for a return call, which would eventually come several days later if at all. The advice given was very suspect by so-called experienced accountants. Corporation Tax returns were amateurish and allowances were not taken into account correctly resulting in incorrectly calculated tax liabilities. In all not an acceptable level of service.

Sean Roberts took over us as a client and has been great. knowledgable and attentive. Happy to recommend him for accounting services.
