I just took the big step of registering my new Sole Proprietorship business with BRC Alberta and the overall experience was very good. Ashleigh was the agent who assisted me and she was informative, patient and guided me through the process when certain adjustments needed to be made to meet the government requirements. This Registry service is a one-stop shop that helps you get registered, Nuans business name search, BN - CRA number and much more. There are fees for this, but there is great comfort in knowing that everything is being done correctly with those who are knowledgeable and there to guide you along the way. And....all from the comfort of your home. I would highly recommend using this service!

Timely, accurate information and friendly experience from Jinal

BRC Alberta charged me $249 for corporate annual return, which included $99 service fee and $150 government fee. However, according to the registry agent product catalogue posted on Government of Alberta website, government fee for annual return is 0. I called their agent Evelyn, and she said she is not the owner, and fee is not set by her. She was very rude and didn't say sorry for faking government fees.
