Nick was very helpful, he listened to what was required, he assisted and guided in the testing of the equipment and was very patient..He wasn't at all pushy but gave all the necessary facts..All in all Dad was very happy with the experience and, with his purchase..Thank you..

My wife has a mobility scooter which was brought from able world in lincoln lincolnshire. It broke and it wouldn't work. It went in to be repaired and we paid for the repair to be done. We collected it and the first time she went to use it 'it wouldn't work. When my wife calling able world regards this , she was told to push it. How can this reply be appropriate when someone cant walk on there own with out oxygen at times to be told to push a mobility scooter when it breaks down.

Nick was patient and informative and offered me advice on the type of wheelchair I was interested in.
When I expressed interest in 3 types, he showed them to me and explained their features.
When I selected my preference, Nick showed me how to dismantle it and fitted it into the boot of my small car.

Ableworld Lincoln what a brilliant mobility store! The staff are super friendly and nothing is too much trouble. I can always find what I need in there and if not they can get it for you. The prices are reasonable too. It’s the first place I think of if I need anything mobility related.

Having had a rather heavy and not very easy-to-fit-together scooter for a while, I was looking for a folding power chair that I could lift by myself. Step forward the Q50R carbon power chair weighing only 14kg – it’s perfect for what I wanted.

Apart from being very lightweight, the battery is small and easy to charge and the steering control is simple with easy-to-understand controls. The seat is extremely comfortable and for those of us with long legs, it supports the whole of the thighs and has a very comfortable footplate. The chair is a doddle to operate, folds and unfolds in one simple movement and fits into the car boot remarkably well – even a very small car.

The staff at Ableworld in Lincoln were fantastic. After I’d explained what I wanted, Glenn and Nick knew exactly what would suit and they allowed me to have a good drive around the car park, testing out the speed and controls to make sure! After showing me how to fold the chair, and making sure I could lift it into the boot, the sale was made. They were very knowledgeable, professional, kind and understanding and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend visiting Ableworld or buying the Q50R powerchair.

We took my mother-in-law to the Lincon branch of Ableworld as she was in search of a suitable mobility scooter. We were served by Glenn, who was professional, extremely knowledgeable and able to answer all our questions and concerns. He was also incredibly patient, recommending that my mother-in law try as many scooters as she wished, which turned out to be five in total; nothing was too much trouble for him. In addition, he was not pushy in any way with regard to making a sale and in fact encouraged us to go away to consider our options before making a final decision. This we did before returning the next day to purchase the scooter she had decided upon. When buying the scooter, we were served by Nick, the manager, who was also very helpful. I would not hesitate in recommending the Ableworld store in Lincoln to anyone looking for advice in making a similar purchase and we are very grateful to both Glenn and Nick.

A big shout-out for Glenn at the Lincoln branch for his exceptionally kind and knowledgable support in helping my 92 year old mum choose a wheelchair. He made sure that the wheelchair was adjusted to suit her height and encouraged her to try the chair in the store before making the decision to purchase it.

His thoughtful and caring interactions with my mum was admirable and made the whole experience enjoyable. I cannot recommended Glenn and Ableworld highly enough

Glen at the Lincoln branch provided us with exceptionally kind and knowledgable support when selecting a stroller and walking stick for my father in law. He made sure that the products were set up to fit him, and that he was provided with alternatives to try out, to make sure he was making the best decision before purchase. We were extremely impressed by Glens thoughtful and caring interactions with ourselves, and other customers in the shop at the time. We felt unhurried and very happy to have received the help he provided. We will definitely buy from the store again should we need further apparatus.

After a phone call enquiring about a stair lift, Ryan came next day to give us a quote. He explained about all models answered all my questions. He wasn’t pushy nor did he push a particular model.I phoned the local Ableworld the following day they took my order over the phone with a small deposit. It was fitted the next day by Ryan he was friendly and very efficient, it was a pleasure to meet him. He explained everything fully, and made sure my husband could manage to use the lift. I was very impressed with everyone who dealt withmy order.
