Ableworld - Christchurch Omdömen 

Absolutely brilliant experience getting my new boot scooter from Ableworld Christchurch! Dave was so helpful and I am very please with my purchase. I got to have a ‘test drive’ and was shown how to take it apart etc. The one I purchased was charged ready before I collected it too. Insurance all set up in store by Dave so an extremely easy and efficient process. Thank you so much :)

Just wanted to give my honest thoughts on the service and shop.
On entering the shop we was meet with a happy smile and straight away was advised to go careful due to a small slope. I was extremely embarrassed about reason I was in but was made to feel so welcome and no trouble. Rebecca took the time and made sure we got exactly what I needed. Thank you so much for making my first experience not as daunting as I thought.

Brilliant service . Rebecca at the Christchurch shop was amazing very informative and answered all my questions, was able to try some mobility scooters before we made the purchase. Would definitely go back even though it was an hour and half journey.

Christchurch Dorset Store - I have used this store on a regular basis for both the hire of equipment and the purchase of aids.
The store is well stocked and the staff are excellent in terms of giving advice, offering options and overall desire to deliver excellent customer service.

Rebecca was very helpful as I had no idea what I was going to do having driven a car for 58 years and my car will be 20 years old next month.
Rebecca went through several of the mobility scooters and I decided to try *BigIF26.99ALLOW* Jolly Boot Scooter - Red 7
I was allowed to drive round the shop and felt a little concerned about driving into something but made it round the isles with no problem.
It was then suggested that I try another model but didn't feel quite so comfortable.
Rebecca was kind and showed my partner how to dismantle it and put it back together again.
On arriving back home my partner put the scooter together so that I could ride round the carpark which was empty.
I will look forward to many outings with my partner and dog.

Sadly I didn't catch the ladies name that served me but she was amazing . Incredibly patient, with a fabulous compassion and understanding for my needs. Everything was explained perfectly with no pressure. This is a purchase I was very reluctant to make but she made the entire experience a Pleasurable one . Highly recommend Ableworld

Bought my first mobility scooter today. Rebecca was very knowledgeable and found the right scooter for me. I have issues with bending one of my legs and Rebecca found me a scooter that is very comfortable for me to ride. I was treated with patience and respect and the whole experience was very enjoyable. I would definitely recommend Ableworld if you are looking for mobility equipment

I bought a new mobility scooter from the Christchurch store Eddie served me & couldn't be more helpful, steering me away from a much more expensive scooter which would not have been suitable for me as it weighed alot more, he was knowledgeable and even said that I should shop around before I buy.

Excellent service. Eddie was very helpful with advice and assistance. He picked up the old mobility scooter for repair/service, then delivered a hire mobility scooter when it was obvious the old one was beyond repair. Then both Eddie and Dave advised on the purchase of a brand new mobility scooter, with same day delivery! It is difficult to know how the service could have been any better. Thank you.

We came into the store yesterday to look at a mobility scooter and were served by Eddie. Not only did he listen to our daughters needs, and sell her what she actually needed, but dropped it off for her. No hard sell just great customer service.

Dave was extremeley helpful in assisting us to select the right mobilty scooter. He demonsrated the operation of the scooter clearly and with no pressure on us. He has also previouslly been very helpful with a mysterious occurence of flat tyres on another scooter.Thanks

Terrible experience at Christchurch branch. Sold my father an electric chair that was way too small for him. All over him until he’d paid his money then wouldn’t reply to emails or phone calls. In the end we had to cut our losses and return the chair. Left it for months to try and get an amicable outcome. No refund and no apology!

Dave was extremely helpful as he always has been. He dealt with a problem with attachments for a wheelchair and managed to ask the company to replace them which was by no means certain. He is polite, friendly and knowledgeable.

Rebecca at the Christchurch shop was so caring, helpful and knowledgeable. I wasn’t really sure which wheelchair was right for me, but her help and knowledge found the right one for me. I’m really happy with my purchase. Thank you Rebecca.

Stair lift installed in Feb 2021. Was new as no refurbished ones available and it cost £4094 The engineer had trouble with the seat so had to return with a secondhand seat which we had for nearly a month, he also told us that as it was power swivel chair, it would be bought back at an extremely good price. He told us the manager would be in contact as he took customer satisfaction a priority. Never did anyone contact us.
July 2023 I called to ask about removal as their website states they buy back at up to £500. I was told an engineer would contact me the following day. A week later I called again and a very rude woman told me that I had already been offered £150. I explained that it was the first time a price had been suggested as I was still waiting for someone to call me. I was told if I wasn't happy then the manager would call me the following day, again I called them a week later and was told by the manager that they normally charge £300 for removal, so I was actually quids in !!
The stair lift was eventually removed in August and the engineer gave me 3 days the money should be in my account, that day being a Monday, if not the Wednesday or the Friday. The following Tuesday I went into the shop as no money had been sent and I was not prepared to wait for another promised call that wouldn't happen. The manager phoned their accounts dept and the girl was out of the office. I did eventually get a call from the manager who said the girl was off for the rest of the day and this was the first he had heard of it, I did point out that I had spoken to him in July !!
A phone call was received the following day from yet another manager who said he had been tasked with taking over the Christchurch store and he had asked for my £150 to be sent as a priority and was giving me an extra £25 for the inconvenience that I had suffered!!!
If the company removes the stair lift and subsequently scrap / recycle the components, then why take the handbook etc and why did the engineer make a phone call to someone and say that it looks brand new so we'll make a bit on this one !!
The money lost on this is not the point, it's lack of consideration, no explanation of how the item would depreciate and general rudeness of the staff. I would think twice before using this company ever again

This company helped me with my wife's wheelchair on 13th April they didn't ask for any money for doing the job it was only a 5min job but couldn't have been more helpful would recommend them to anyone Jordan was the person who helped

I needed a replacement brake cable for a 90yo. friend’s walker. (the friend is 90yo., not the walker !). Initially I went to another store in Christchurch who could not have been less helpful. Then I went to Ableworld in BridgeStreet and they were fantastic.
They looked at the old cable I had and thought it was similar to the one an another type of walker and he proceeded to remove one for me.
So, having done all this, I asked “ how much”?
No, that’s ok they told me.
I was served by Chris and Dave and they could not have been more helpful.
Fantastic in this day and age to find such service and helpful people.
