Rod is absolutely fantastic! Bought the Atlanta XL for the extra seat cushioning, being in the chair for extended periods.

Nothing was too much trouble.Taught me how to drive it. Let me try it out for 40 minutes. No pressure. No push. Small business. Great prices. Comfortable products. Just really helpful friendly customer service.

Try everywhere else (we did) Then come try the best!

When I was first investigating a new electric wheelchair, I rang many of the larger well known wheelchair providers and even though they were of some help the merchandise cost an absolute bomb. Here we are talking many many thousands of dollars. I asked, "why so expensive" and was given an answer full of jargon I could hardly understand. As I was continuing with my research, I was looking through the internet and I came across a site called Abbicare offering what looked to be excellent wheelchairs at affordable prices. Included were so many five stars in Google you could not count them all. Well, I called and a gentleman by the name of Rod Coleman answered the phone. I expected some very cold and controlling salesperson. Well talking to Rod for the first time he came across like a cheeky mate I have known for years. Rather than talk about wheelchairs we talked about meat pies. What really impressed me though whist he is being very friendly and relaxed this man really knew his art. That is wheelchairs, and not only how to make them but explain anything you want to know about them in a down to earth easy to understand manner. All the merchandise that you will find at Abbicare is top class. He simply does not accept anything else. I purchased a foldable electric 2023 Eagle HD wheelchair and it has given me a new lease on life. I have found more independence where now I could travel the world if I wanted to. This chair is my very best friend. Its quality is superb.
If you are looking for a wheelchair do your due diligence but please make the time to speak with Rod Coleman at Abbicare. You will do yourself a massive favour where all conversation is in a language you can understand. Make sure in your search, speak with Rod Coleman a great man with a great business.

I have been using the Kmini Folding Power wheelchair for just over six months now and I have found it to be comfortable (where I have fallen asleep in it), very smooth to drive like you are floating along; it takes a bit to get used to when driving it but when you have control of the steering it’s a dream to drive.
I’ve found it even better when I use the, as I call it the 4 wheel drive mode where you need to go over grass, or loose gravel, sand’s a bit tricky but it handles like a dream I don’t have to worry about getting stuck and having to wait for someone who can either carry me and my wheelchair or pull me to where I have traction which is freeing in its self it gives me more of my independence than what I’ve had in a long time.
Like most vehicles, you still have to watch out for foot traffic as you go along, but people move out of the way.

• The headrest works very well for me for I can lay my head back and it can’t tip/roll to the sides as it does normally.
• The bucket seat is like sitting in either a car seat or a really comfortable computer chair.
• The seatbelt helps for those times when you need extra support for safety reasons.
• The armrest is comfortable once you have them adjusted to the position you find comfortable, for me they could be a bit wider since my arms aren’t as thin as they use to be when I was younger.
• The leg rest is good and sturdy easy to adjust.
• The footrest is comfortable. If there is a way to make it a bit wider would be better because a lot of people don’t actually sit with their feet that close together and the backrest for the heels a bit higher so you don’t feel as though your feet are going to fall out especially when you raise the leg rest.

Overall I would give this wheelchair a 10/10 for performance, durability, and comfort.

Well, the big day finally arrived and I took delivery of my AMAZING Life
Changing Machine. AKA My (Dinkum Navigator).
I knew exactly what I wanted from a power wheelchair, having researched for at least 12 months.But NEVER, in my wildest dreams did I expect the absolute Life changing independence the Dinkum Navigator affords me.

I’m a 76 year old lady, with a few health problems as you would expect, but since I got my Dinkum Navigator. I feel like a bird that has its freedom after being caged. If I want to go up to 40 K’s on one charge…No worries. Are you KIDDING ME???? NO !!! They are not kidding. SO I Named my D.N. ( DORA THE EXPLORER) Yep I know , Catchy isn’t it ?

So having had to wait. Like everyone else for the Covid restrictions to afford us a bit more Personal freedom , now is the time. So I have been on the bus …all day shopping. Alone. wooHoo. Going to the Zoo next week and off to Manly on the train and ferry after that.

When I got Dora the explorer I also took delivery of the passenger trailer. So, as I Lose my eyesight totally. My carer won’t have to walk behind me all-day, they can ride and take control of the chair from the back of the seat …… I told you its my independence machine. ( I just love it) so does my carer.
I also got the telescopic ramps at the same time. Worth every cent. Makes loading and un loading into a car easy after a couple of times almost anyone can do it.

I have to also say, that Abbi Care and Rodney Coleman have been fantastic. It’s been my experience with Rod that nothing is too much trouble. He goes well above and beyond with any request you might have, to make sure it’s attended to quickly and with great attention to detail

I’ve never had that kind of service from anyone working in the disability sector before. It’s so refreshing and comforting knowing someone with a bit of clout has your back.
