I’m so done with AAA. It used to take under an hour (often even way less) to get a flat tire call. Now it’s just ridiculous. Gorgeous evening. No snow or weather. Just terrible execution of services -... Se mer

Horrible insurance
Horrible insurance. I will not stay with them after my policy expired. I sent them a pip form and they didn’t accept it. I called 4 times and they keep saying I see the form and it should be accepted. I will send it for review and call you back. They never call back. Horrible insurance and customer service.

I have been a loyal customer since 1991. AAA has never let me down. I had my vehicle towed in for repair 02/25 by driver Richard, who showed his expertise and care in what he does. Real genuine employee and asset to all!

Always wait at least an hour today it's 2 because they sent a tow service not in the area I was stranded .. very unreliable and when I called to get the 2nd tow request she said it won't be long because I already waited over an hour but no 2nd tow will arrive in hour and 10 min so over 2hrs on side of the expressway for gold membership towing wow just awful
AAA used a local tow company that damaged my vehicle
AAA used a local tow company that damaged my vehicle during the tow and then their claims process made it nearly impossible to get the repairs covered. I finally went through insurance who is subrogating the amounts against AAA. I spoke with former AAA employees who agrees AAA does not pay out for damage caused by tows. They tell you to go after the local tow company instead. Terrible company.

Called for a waiver of an unfair additional $15 late fee as the earlier physical letter did not arrive before the 2nd letter was issued.
Had the insurance for so long and bundled (home- auto- membership) and AAA does not have the decency to waive a $15 unfair fee. Cancelled my membership and going to get other insurance. for AAA loyalty means nothing. Total trash

Stranded in an ice storm and empty parking lot due to botched repair
Absolutely awful customer service and what a rip off. I hope to find an alternative. We have been members for over 10 years in 3 states and have barely used it until recently. CT is the absolute worse with different regions and regions changing based on time. The tow truck was needed after a botched spare tire installation that was supposed to be resolved with AAA. We were completely stranded with 2 adults, 4 young kids, and an elderly grandma. One adult waited over 6 hours in an empty parking lot and had to go home after 12 am in an ice storm and Lyft going over ice banks that would not have happened if AAA was responsive. Hours were on the phone with multiple transfers and no tow truck until the next morning. Lyft was over $300 and repairs due to the botched spare tire was also hundreds. AAA customer service has denied requests for reimbursement and have been completely indifferent to our business.
“1st time Using AAA — Extremely Disappointed”
I called AAA at 12:16 p.m. for towing assistance. My service request was canceled three separate times without explanation. Each time, I was told a driver was en route, only to find out my call had been reassigned or moved.
My estimated service window was 12 pm to 3 pm ended up to be 12:16 p.m. to 8:16 p.m., yet by 5:14 p.m. I was still waiting — not because of high demand, but because dispatch repeatedly redirected drivers elsewhere.
I understand emergencies can change priorities. However, repeatedly canceling a customer’s request and restarting the process without clear communication is not acceptable customer service. Being moved to the “bottom of the list” multiple times after already waiting hours is extremely frustrating and undermines confidence in the reliability of the service.
I expect better communication and accountability from a roadside assistance provider.

On February 21 I ordered a battery…
On February 21 I ordered a battery replacement online it was supposed to be installed on the 22 but they never came. They never confirmed no email or nothing . I called the company three times spoke to three different women all whom seemed clueless. I told the date and time of the transaction and still nothing was resolved . Their website is faulty apparently. Now I have to wait to either get a refund from them or dispute it with my bank . AAA keep saying they will send an email and it never came. Bottom line they took my money and rendered no services.
Hellish experience
Let me begin by saying I’ve been a member of Aaa for 43 years. My current membership expires April 15 of 2026, today is February 20, 2026. When I came home from vacation I stood in freezing cold weather trying to get Aaa to come and jumpstart my car and an hour later I was finally able to get through to an agent. ..every time I went through the online service they would send me a text and the text would say that my account wasn’t valid. Finally the agent told me that the reason that the online system said my account was invalid was because my membership was expiring in two months. They couldn’t help me today unless I renewed my membership for 2027 because my membership was expiring in two months. I have a bill from them saying it’s due March 15 , today is only February 20, but they couldn’t help me because my account was expiring in two months. This place is so freaking dumb. Their online system is a joke and trying to get a hold of a live body is almost impossible and then they don’t give a rats ass that all you wanted to do was get a jump for your car and they’re trying to sell you some medical advice device in case I fall. I’m not falling. I just wanted to get my car jumped. This place is deplorable. Aaa used to be the Vanguard of emergency services and now they are nothing but a bunch of phone monkeys. This place is so terrible that I gave them one star but I wish I could give them a negative 10 stars. I’ve been a member for 43 years and I have never seen such a decline in service in my entire life. Somebody should shut this place down. I am looking for a new emergency road side service company right now.
0 Customer Service
I was a AAA customer for years. I didn't use the roadside assistance often, but used the travel options regularly. I booked a hotel through AAA and when I got to the hotel, I was charged $25 more a night than the price listed on the site for parking. This was nowhere in the price listed, but in the fine print on another page. I notified AAA how they were permitting their customers to be blindsided by additional fees not listed. AAA refused to assist. Ok, so the hotel got my $75 and AAA lost a customer for life. 0 customer care. I'll never recommend them or be a member with them again.

This happened on 2/16/2026 which was President's Day. This 5 star is solely for Jordan from Nationwide Towing. I locked my keys in my car and called AAA to do a lockout. The first people that came out attempted it, but when they couldn't open the vehicle they told me that my car must've went into "anti-theft mode" and I'd have to get it towed to their auto shop which was only a few miles down the road. They said they had "special tools" at the shop that would get the car unlocked. The one guy gave me his cell number and they left. I called AAA again and told them what happened. They said that they'd send a tow truck. It was initially supposed to get there in roughly 30 minutes. After it was over 40 minutes later and still no contact from the driver, I contacted AAA again. They looked into it and said that due to heavy volume my request is going back into their "Q" and they'd keep me updated on when I can expect a new truck to come. Luckily I got a response from Jordan from Nationwide Towing that he was on his way. FYI, I was an hour away from home on a sales appointment worried that I was going to be without my vehicle and with the real possibility of having to find a hotel in a city I'm not very familiar with! When Jordan arrived he switched it from a tow to a lockout. He went above and beyond and was able to get the keys out of my vehicle so I could unlock my car. This 5 star is for the effort and professionalism that Jordan showed. I would give AAA 3.5 stars for the wait time and responses. I would give the first people that showed up 1.5 stars. In hindsight it seems like they were just trying to get me to go to their repair shop to charge me for what they should've handled where I was stranded. I forgot to mention that their shop closed early that day. I tried to call the guy's cell number and the repair shop after the tow truck was running behind. Neither of them answered my calls or returned my messages. Thank you again Jordan!
SERVICE Is Back At AAA !!
I live in The Falls (Miami, FL). I needed battery assistance last night. I called AAA. Julian appeared at my home in a white mini van within 30 minutes. He was polite, pleasant and got to work immediately. It took him less than 19 minutes to get my truck going. That was the absolute BEST service I had ever experienced from AAA. He gave me a glimmer of hope that AAA had brought SERVICE back to its organization. I’d had some really poor experiences with AAA in the past, but Julian was amazing. Hats off to AAA and Julian!! Thanks. Alan
We paid for the premium package of over…
We paid for the premium package of over $168.00 to make sure we would have a 200 mile tow if needed. We called because guess what. We broke down. We were told we would be towed five miles for free and would have to pay the rest. This is the first and last time we will use this useless company. We have reported the issue to the BBB and consumer affairs. We reported the monetary transactions as fraudulent and have retained an attorney to begin arbitration. We had to spend over 600 dollars for a tow home by a competent tow company.
TRIPLE A SHOULD BE OUT OF BUSINESS
The level of utter incompetence that I experienced from everyone in this company, from front line staff to those who identified themselves as managers, is unimaginable! As I waited for OVER 8 hours, shivering in the cold, for countless failed commitments to never come to fruition, I was entertained by 2 employees battling to “make my day better”, one establishing service delivery tickets, while the other cancelled them each time one was established. Ashley & James were the forced entertainment I experienced, while not eating all day, not having any water, going without my medication, and unable to use the restroom, awaiting a tow from the unsafe environment where I had been stranded, again, for OVER eight hours! I was never offered a supervisor and was at one point informed that the call I received was a “favor”. Ultimately, I received a call after the 100 other non-substantive and inaccurate “updates”, letting me know that help was NOT on the way and that I could reserve an appointment for a tow on the following day. I then picked up the phone, calling numbers independently from google searches, and a tow truck came to my rescue in 20 minutes! NEVER AGAIN, Triple A**holes! I’m cancelling my contract/subscription TONIGHT! I suggest everyone save themselves the TRAUMA and MISERY and do the same!
At least the poor service is consistent
Besides the the ridiculous phone system that is designed to make bad situations even worse. The service is pathetic on a good day. The representatives don't listen, if you can even get to a live voice. There seems to be a total lack of training and/or common sense.
AAA Staff suggested using different company
Does not cover what they claim and will not help in an emergency. Staff told me I should handle my problem independently and contact a different agency. Their own staff encourage clients to go elsewhere.
Thank you calling AAA you’re calling KKK
This service company is horrible. A technician came out to service my battery when my car wouldn’t start my battery was under warranty and I was entitled to a replacement. He told me I needed to take my battery to shop and have them charge it. I informed him I was entitled to a new battery is that one was not put for me he refused. I asked to speak with a manager. He refused to get a manager and said I was only trying to get a free battery he then proceeded to call me a Niger and you just wanted a free battery. I contacted customer service they sent out a new technician and a manager arrived on site they determined the battery was dead and should’ve been replaced at no cost. Be careful when you call AAA you actually calling triple K. kKK It might experience for roadside assistance. I’ll never use them again after 30 years of use. Also, they suspend my service because the technician indicated that I talked aggressive to him. You never wanna pay for service from a company that doesn’t respect you as a customer. If you’re looking for a good customer service and respect as a customer, this is not the place to buy products do you think you calling AAA you actually calling the KKK. That’s just my experience.
