I passed my driving test in Heckmondwike first time, thanks to A1 Driving School! My instructor, Qamar Shahzad, is a great guy—patient, clear, and super encouraging. His lessons focused on my weaknesses, like roundabouts, and mock tests prepped me perfectly for the real thing. The car was spotless, and pricing was fair. Qamar’s calm vibe made learning fun and stress-free. Highly recommend A1 Driving School and Qamar to anyone in Heckmondwike!

Manzoor is a great driving instructor, he's pleasant and disarming, didn't push too hard at any time, but did keep pushing. By teaching in a structured way and building with each lesson he gave me the confidence to pass at the first attempt. Thanks Manzoor!

I passed today first time with Uzy at Heckmondwike Test centre. Uzy is great he always fitted me in for lessons and is really reassuring. There’s no such thing as “silly questions” with Uzy I couldn’t recommend more!!

Great lessons with Manzoor. Previous driving instructor just wanted money and I didn't learn a lot but in a short time Manzoor was able to help me understand different driving situations a lot better with illustrations as that's easier for me to learn from.

I had a great teacher, and I passed at the first try. Qureshi took the time to break down the rules and prepare me for what to expect.

I would recommend A1 driving school. My lovely instructor manaz made sure i passed successfully and never let me give up. She was really patient with me and made sure to encourage me and improve my skills making sure i’d pass.

I took 6 lessons from instructor Qamar Shahzad and passed my test. He highlighted my driving faults during initial lessons and continuously helped me in improving them. I’m very pleased by his training method and definitely recommend him , he will surely get you passed.

Outstanding performance from Naj and Afsana at A1 passed first time after a small amount of lessons 100% recommend!!

My instructor was jaamey and I passed first time with him with only 3 minors. All together was an amazing driving instructor taught me everything I needed to know as well as further things to help me be better at driving.

I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor than Naz sir. He was always kind, patient, and incredibly supportive, which made a huge difference in helping me feel comfortable and confident behind the wheel. His clear explanations and helpful feedback really improved my driving, and thanks to his guidance, I felt fully prepared for my test. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a calm, professional, and genuinely caring instructor.
