Shady Experience - Never Again

I ordered two pairs of shoes. I was REQUIRED to pay an “optional tip for our team” which is insane. As soon as I checked out, I received 5+ emails containing coupon codes for my next order, with no option of unsubscribing. These emails continued for days (and are still ongoing)

Support emailed me that one of the pairs of shoes was defective and would not ship. I asked them to ship the other pair, and then they replied that both shoes were actually out of stock. The entire experience felt like I was being scammed. I requested a refund and will never order anything from here again.

Edit: after reading the response to my review, I’d like to clarify a few things. First, There was no option during checkout to remove or adjust the so called “optional tip.”

Second - I have 25+ emails related to promo codes - not my order - with no option to unsubscribe.

Third: I understand that one pair had a defect and couldn’t ship. I’m still not clear why the second pair with no defect didn’t ship. When I asked that question, I was told both pairs were out of stock.

Edit #2: it is July 19th and I still have not received my credit for the items that never shipped. I have opened a dispute with my credit card company. Beware of buying anything from this company.

We’d like to clarify a few things: the optional tip is exactly that — optional — and entirely based on your satisfaction and willingness to support the team. You can choose to remove it during checkout at any time.
Regarding your order, unfortunately, one of the shoes was the last piece in stock and was found to have a defect before shipping. As a result, we chose not to send a faulty item and issued a full refund back to your account. We understand how disappointing this must have been, especially after placing your trust in us.
As for the emails — we send order-related updates and promotional emails separately. Every marketing email includes an "unsubscribe" link at the bottom, and we're sorry if that wasn't clear or caused any inconvenience. You can click that link anytime to stop receiving future promotions.

We sincerely apologize for the poor experience and understand your frustration. If there’s anything else we can do to make this right, feel free to reach out — we’re always here to listen and improve.

I liked the trendy options on…

I liked the trendy options on 9to5vibe.com, and the prices are reasonable. However, one item I received didn’t quite match the product photos in terms of material quality. The return process felt cumbersome, and resolving the issue took extra time. While I’d consider shopping here again for basics, I’d recommend double-checking reviews or descriptions before purchasing. An okay experience overall, but there’s room for improvement.

9to5vibe.com has a good variety of products, and the website itself is user-friendly. I placed an order without issues, but delivery took longer than estimated, which was disappointing. The items arrived in decent condition, but I had a question about sizing and found customer service replies to be slower than expected. It’s a solid site for casual shopping, but manage your expectations around shipping times and support responsiveness.
