Contract Terms Ignored and No Refund Issued
On 16.04.2026, we signed a contract under which it was agreed that on 14.05 a YouTube channel would be created with exclusive rights belonging to me. When that date arrived, they created the channel with exclusive rights under their own name, claiming that they would transfer it to me later. However, both the written and verbal agreement were different.
Within a month, they did not prepare either the description or the texts. After I raised a complaint, they continued acting in their own way: creating an avatar and designing a cover according to their own preferences, even though it had been agreed that my colors and my photograph would be used.
The same contract also included the following agreements:
Full administration and promotion of the YouTube channel “turnkey” (4 videos and 15 Shorts). Since the channel was created with exclusive rights under their own name, this part of the obligations was also not fulfilled.
Development of a content plan for the YouTube channel and short videos for Shorts, TikTok, Instagram/Facebook Reels — in this part, my opinion was also completely ignored.
Even before signing the contract, I explained that my English was difficult. I was promised that everything would be corrected with the help of artificial intelligence. After signing the contract, I was told that corrections could be made, but that the result would look very poor in quality.
They proposed a plan for the first conversation that did not correspond at all to my abilities or expectations. Therefore, I made the first video according to my capabilities. However, they did not even watch the video I sent them. The video was filmed with a camera. I asked several times whether I should film with a phone or with a camera. Several times I was told that it was better to film with a camera rather than with a phone. Videos filmed with a camera take up a lot of space, and there was no other storage option except the drive they themselves specified. At the same time, a second video was also filmed with a camera and uploaded to the location on the drive indicated by them. When I asked when the videos would be edited, I was criticized because downloading the files supposedly took them too long.
It should also be noted that I uploaded the first photographs into the group. I spent about 5 hours selecting them. After the photographs were uploaded, I was told that they needed to be uploaded to the drive specified by them. After an hour of trying to upload them, it turned out that I had not been given all the necessary access rights to upload the photographs.
After that, I again spent several days collecting and uploading photographs and videos that were supposed to be used for the first video. However, nobody reviewed these materials either, because they could not answer the questions I asked, as usual postponing everything until later.
They sent me a plan copied from other influencers. Already during the first conversation, I said that I was not going to copy other influencers. I have my own strategy and my own vision for the channel.
Before signing the contract, I explained my wishes and the locations I wanted to show in great detail. I am from Lithuania and have organized trips myself for many years, so I want to present everything differently from how others do it. I also spoke about what I wanted to show during the first conversation. However, they were prepared only for their own plan and did not make time to discuss my needs.
We agreed that I would describe in detail which places I would visit, where I would go, and what I wanted to show. To my ideas they added several suggestions and once again presented their plan copied from other influencers, which I had already previously rejected.
Now I am demanding a refund, but they continue delaying the process, claiming that some kind of procedure is required. However, it is perfectly clear that a refund only requires making a bank transfer and sending confirmation from the bank.
