Smooth and Stress-Free Move from MD to DC


I had a great experience with 495 Movers for my move from Maryland to DC. The team arrived on time, worked efficiently, and handled all of my belongings with care. They were professional, friendly, and very organized from start to finish.

The move went smoothly, communication was clear, and everything was delivered without any issues or damage. They made what could have been a stressful day feel easy and well-managed. I would definitely recommend 495 Movers for anyone needing a reliable local moving company.

UNMATCHED MOVING SERVICE

As an academic professor, I have moved at least 8 times. The last relocation from Maryland to Florida with 495 Movers was the best. After meeting with Moti, the founder of 495 Movers, I was totally impressed. From the first contact through the very competitive pricing, I experienced incredible service. The packaging was unbelievable; Every box and the furniture as well as several delicate pieces of art, arrived intact; the pick up crew under the supervision of Hernando was the best I have ever encountered; the constant communication was like a breath of fresh air; I was kept informed throughout the process from Baltimore to Miami; the arrival and the unpacking were second to none. None of the movers from my previous experience match their services. They were courteous, careful, elegant, and delightful. I strongly recommend 495 Movers for any in-state or out-of-state relocation.

Well done

They did a virtual survey of our suite contents, dropped off the boxes, giving us sufficient time to pack. They were on time, efficient and careful with our boxes. They patiently moved furniture around several times until we felt it was in the right spot.
This is the second time we've used them and will use them again should the need arise.

Good service. Need better estimate.

We used this mover in Feb 2025.

What went well: The moving team worked very well and the relocation was done professionally. Their packaging was good as well and communication was smooth.

What could be improved: The initial estimate and actual bill was different by a relatively big margin. I have moved a number of times in past and my preferred mover is always a different company. This is the first time I used 495movers based on low cost estimate. But the actual bill came out higher.

I felt that the company was trying to get the customers by providing lower estimate, but at the time of acutual billing the amount gets higher.

Wonder Experience.

495 Movers moved us twice in a month: once from our old house to storage and then from storage to our new house.
We were able to schedule moves that were convenient to us.
They were honest and efficient, and they expertly reassembled our furniture. 495 is the mover for us. We highly recommend booking your next move with them.

Great service!!

We used 495 Movers service on last October, the guys showed up on time and ready to work!
They worked very fast and clean and were very polite during all the time.
I already recommended them to several of my friends and I definitely will continue to recommend them!
