Because we’re local, he could have fit me in same-day, but I chose a next-day slot instead. Before confirming, I checked his credentials, trade body membership, and recent customer ratings—all excellent. The only other quick quote I received was from an unaccredited locksmith charging 50% more and not sounding as trustworthy.

**PS** If you haven’t heard of lock-snapping (affecting many older Euro locks, even on doors with multi-point locking), look it up—intruders can break in within seconds, which is why I upgraded mine as well. Don’t wait if your locks are out of date!
