The 229 Club by Great Portland Street Underground Station
I Attended an Event at the 229 Club in London, the Event was Club Reptile's 15th Birthday Party it was Club Reptile's 1st Time Using this Venue, the Full Address is:
229 Great Portland Street, London W1W 5PN!
This all Happened on Saturday 24th June 2023 it was on from 2100-0300, I only arrived there at 2200!
I found it to be a Descent Sized Venue, it was Extremely Easy to Get to as it is Literally Right Next to Great Portland Street Underground Station, and both Bus Routes 27 and 205 will Deliver you there, also in the Early Hours of the Morning Bus Routes 27 & N205 are still Definitely Running, the Bus Route N205 which I took Eastwards can Return you Home if You are Going anywhere along its Route which Ends in Leyton, up until the Day Route 205 takes over, which Terminates at Bromley By Bow Church!
I can't speak about Drink Prices as Someone Owed me some Money and bought the only Bottle of Water I Actually Drank that Night!
I was Extremely Comfortable in the what Seemed as Extra Temperature Controlled Basement, I don't know if it was Air Conditioned or that way Due to Heat not affecting it, as it's Underground, but I loved being there, Nobody Got Leary or Exceedingly Drunk, the Sound System was Rather Good, and Due to My Own Mobility Issues I didn't try Going Up to the Stage to Watch the Band or was it Bands Play, I could hear them Very Well from at the Back where I was Seated, the Toilets weren't bad at all, bit of a Dodgy Lock on the Cubicle, but no-one bothered me, my only Real Gripe is the Chairs Really Hurt my Spine, as they were Very Hard and Uncomfortable, I was Seated on them for most of the Night, are they there as a Form of Punishment?
