Our luggage had been lost in a flight from Malaga along with many others but it seems the luggage tag was also missing from ours and Mike forensically pieced together our details from

Excellent customer service

I was served by Mike C. from First Flight Forwarders LTD. My checked-in luggage ended up travelling across Europe before it could be tracked down. I almost lost my hope to get it back with all its content, when I got a call from Mike. He quickly helped me get it back home in a couple days. Fantastic customer service. Thank you Mike!

Fabulous service

What can I say other than absolutely fantastic service and support. Mike was a star and located our bag which had been taken by mistake by another passenger. We had a transatlantic flight the following afternoon and we were kept up to date ever step of the way. From explaining what’s happening to organising the bag to be shipped to us in America. Fabulous support from Mike which made an awfully stressful time that much better. Thank you Mike

Patient and calm help from 1st Flight

Gemma at 1st Flight helped me calmly and patiently in my quest for my missing bag. My bag failed to return with me from Venice airport 8/1/24. Gemma replied to every single one of my e mails with calm advice and instruction on what to do (we landed at LGW after 22.30 and no customs reps were around to hand relevant forms for signature re. contents of missing bag). She sent me a link to the required document for bag release and 5 days later after some delay my bag was returned to my door. It is battered and has a new crack but it is home and most importantly so are my things in it.

Don’t panic, use live chat. They are super helpful.

Left a laptop bag on an easyJet flight on Saturday night. Tried contacting airport and customer services but no luck. They said I must contact 1st Flight.

Having read mixed reviews and horror stories online I was worried my bag and LOTS of contents were gone forever.

I am leaving a review to give anyone in the same position some peace of mind. There is no phone number and emails are slow, but be sure to use the live chat. You need to keep trying to connect until you get lucky.

Once connected they are super helpful. My bag was in the system and delivered to me today. It cost £30 for return, which seems to be a flat fee.

iPhone recovered from an Easyjet Flight

Reported a lost iPhone on an Easyjet flight home from Tenerife and Vanessa was amazing on Live Chat and within 15 minutes had located the item and despatched via DPD for next day delivery. Very impressed with the service as few thought we would see it again

Pleased that my case found its own way to Mike at 1st flight. I lost my bag at Gatwick in August last…

I lost my bag at Gatwick in August last year and had completely given up hope of ever seeing it and its contents again. My claim was closed, end of story! But then Mike managed to trace me on next to no information. My bag had traveled to Malaga, Lisbon and twice to Basel, all without me!
Mike’s dogged determination, politeness and kindness reunited me with my bag. Many thanks Mike.

Swift return of lost tablet

I left my tablet on an aircraft and was directed to First Flight by the airline. The registration of the loss was easily done online. The item was located a few days later and then after a couple of swift emails delivered back to me. Great service.

Lost iPad …

Left my iPad on an EasyJet flight and after reporting to lost property at Gatwick I spent several days, Christmas holidays included, trying to contact/chat to the service. Eventually I chatted to Vanessa, a relief and what a difference, patient, reassuring and supportive who located the iPad. Grace took over the dispatch and twenty hours later DPD delivered to my home. Excellent service and support. Thank you.

Holding suitcase

Lost my suitcase, filed a claim, saw a found claim that sounds like mine and been emailing for over a month trying to get it back! No numbers and no contact at all in their side. Lots of sentimental items in the suitcase, don’t know if I’ll ever get it.

My bag went missing for a whole month, gave up the goods like a Mobb Deep song and boom! Mike Found it!

On the 27th of August, my bag went missing on a Lufthansa flight to LHR - London. i checked my bag in, but i think the lady at the counter didnt take my old Baggage Tag off of it. i kept calling lufthansa every single day, every hr. to no avail, it was. i described my bag very well and everyday it was Negative news until a month later. One morning i woke up with a bunch of missed calls from and an Email from a guy called Mike. Believe me when i tell you he’s am Angel. he told me
he has a bag that he thinks its mine i said no way! he let me
describe everything in the bag and yup, it was my Bag y’all! This Mike guy did a thorough investigation and found a receipt in my bag that had my email. He made sure he sent my bag out the next day and yo, its been the best relief ever. very well spoken, Kind and understanding guy he is. if i meet this guy one day, i will give him the biggest Hug and whatever he wants. on Me. solid guy i tell ya. God bless you!

Lost our luggage in Italy then….it showed up !

We went through the security scan at Naples airport and my wife was asked to do a random security search by one of the security staff . When she turned around to pick up her hand carry luggage it was gone. Someone had accidentally taken it by mistake and left us with their luggage which was identical. We scoured the airport but without any luck and because we were short of time we had to board our flight in a few minutes. We reported the luggage stolen to the security guard and exchanged contact information and did not have time to find a police office at the airport to report the incident. We did not hear anything from the other passenger or the Naples Security department for a month while we were travelling around Europe and the UK.
When we returned to Australia in middle of July we assumed the luggage was gone and never to be recovered. In the middle of September we received a Whats App call from a guy called Mike. At first , I was a bit skeptical and didn’t answer. When he sent me a photo of our luggage I quickly picked up the phone and spoke to him. The luggage had been handed in at Naples airport and made its way to EasyJet and the FirstFlight office at Gatwick in London.
My daughter, who was still in Europe arranged with Mike to come to London to retrieve the luggage.We now have the luggage. I want to make a special mention of Mike at FirstFlight and his exceptional first class service as he went over and beyond his duty to make sure we received our luggage , whatever way, he made it happen. Thank you so much Mike for your efforts to provide us the best possible outcome. We hope this review will help your management see what a valued team member you in providing such excellent service to your customers.

They have found our luggage that we thought we have lost forever

We noticed that one bag from us have been lost at the first moment we arrived in the place where we get the luggage back, at Gatwick airport
We have no hope to get it back anymore, then , five months later, we got an e-mail from Mr Mike, who did a wonderful, outstanding work to find out who was the owner of a lost bag with no tag. Thank you very much, Mr Mike
