I joined midway through 2019 when I believe I heard of it via reddit. Although initially worried about the longevity of the site, I'm not anymore! This place has been up and running smoothly ever since.

Avoid! This website came up on a recent search for a Microsoft app for an Echo Dot. Despite not having any legitimate link to the app at all, the man who called up to advise made false claims about Norton being rubbish and then offered to fix fake security issues for over 100 quid. This was not in any way helpful for the initial app search and is just a devious, disingenuous way of getting money. Not this time my friend! The app is actually free and Norton is great for me thanks. Spin your bull on somebody else.

While we understand your frustration with the situation you outlined above we unfortunately don't know what you're talking about or how we can assist you any further. 1MB is a website hosting company that hosts websites that are managed by others; while we do have a moderation process sometimes bad actors do slip through the cracks. To me it sounds like you visited a bad site on a 1mb.site subdomain, is that correct? If so it would be beneficial to report the bad site instead of leaving a bad review, we are here to help. 1MB doesn't currently offer phone support, has no association with Norton, and would never ask you for payment to resolve a security issue. Please consider deleting and/or revising this review as it is 100% false. Thank you for your time.

1mb.site has easily the best user interface and customer support I have ever seen. From previously being a customer from GoDaddy and switching to 1mb.site I have had no regrets.

It’s pretty cool and unique
It’s pretty cool and unique, a lot of time and work has went into the project and it shows. I’m great full that people actually appreciate hard work and it’s amazing to see the things that you can squeeze into only 1MB of space.

Really easy to get going - especially good for previewing site designs without having to install a full CMS. Support is amazing.

I have been with 1MB since near the launch, it's been fun watching 1MB grow a large community, and all the features that have been added down the road. The founder is very approachable and interats with his community every day. Many times I have approached him with bugs or feature requests, and some of them were made within minutes!

1mb has been one of my favorite ways to host a static site. Dalton is incredible with adding new features. He is committed and is always working on 1mb. I recommend this for new developers to expiecennded ones!
