I hadn't driven for a while and my confidence was really low when I re-started lessons. I had the amazing Seema and I'm proud to say that after just a few weeks, I passed my test. I finally feel like a competent, capable and confident driver and that is down to Seema's instruction. She's patient, clear, supportive and kind, and really helped me build my confidence on the road. I couldn't recommend her highly enough.

Absolutely thrilled to share my experience with my driving instructor, Ismail. After a disheartening experience with a previous instructor who was extremely rude and disrespectful, I was on the verge of giving up on driving altogether. However, a friend recommended Ismail, and I couldn't be more grateful.

Ismail's patience, extensive knowledge, and constant encouragement made a world of difference. He meticulously explained every aspect of driving, ensuring I understood not just the how but also the why behind each action. His calm demeanor and positive reinforcement helped me regain my confidence, transforming what used to be a stressful experience into something enjoyable.

With some free weeks between jobs, I set myself the goal of learning to drive. From Google, I soon realised the choice of schools was infinite and, from initial enquiries, there seemed to be many out there which couldn’t spare the time to provide advice, were extortionate in cost and/or were unavailable for months. I then decided to narrow down my search of West London driving schools by considering only those that were top-ranked on Trustpilot. That quickly led me to 1Driving, which stood out in an almost disconcertingly positive way! My call was answered immediately and I was advised that I would be able to start lessons within days and reassured that, even as a complete novice, I would be able to achieve my goal of getting a driving licence within weeks. I’m not the usual demographic for driving schools, being in my mid-50s, but that didn’t seem to faze Asif who dealt with my call and with whom I had my lessons.

Last week, I passed my test, after a semi-intensive course of 6 weeks. Admittedly, that entailed lots of hours as I had no external practice and, it turns out, I’m not a natural driver, but I’ve achieved my goal thanks to 1Driving. It was very reassuring to know that, with their cancellation service, a test could be booked quickly and rearranged, if needed.

I was planning to write a glowing review had I not even passed my test because the instruction I received was faultless and the whole experience of lessons with Asif was brilliant. Asif is fun and friendly (important attributes when spending hours together), hard-working, very reliable and endlessly patient. He quickly identified my weaknesses and painstakingly worked with me to try to resolve them.

Over the weeks, it became apparent that the 1Driving team really cared and were committed to seeing that their students not only pass their tests but also become safe and competent drivers. I wholeheartedly recommend 1Driving.

A fantastic experience working with Asif and his team to prepare me for my successful driving test. Very good and efficient service!

Such a good experience with 1Driving. I went to them for an upgrade from an auto to manual license after driving for 9 years and Asif was great at telling me what to work on and what to not worry about. Managed to pass first time thanks to these guys! Would highly recommend

I recently passed my driving test and I couldn’t have done it without the guidance and patience of my brilliant instructor and brilliant person Ismail Abdi. He was absolutely fantastic throughout my learning journey. Experienced, patient, calm, engaging and always friendly. I was nervous driver at the start but Ismail would always reassure me things were going well and that I should be proud of my achieving. This helped to build my confidence. Would 1000% recommend him to anyone who is planning on taking the practical driving test.

Ismail was patient and understanding during the lessons and gave me more lessons when i needed it. He was a great instructor and i passed my practical with only three minors.
