I have worked with ray Machado for over a year on various homeowner association dark sky compliant lighting projects and has given professional and prompt service each and every time. I work with a few Board of Directors that are demanding with very high expectations that flip-flop often and Ray demonstrated tremendous patience and flexibility in each case. I will continue to work with Ray, Capital Lighting - 1800Lighting in the future without a doubt!

Online shopping was easy to navigate and find what I wanted. Easy to order and follow the prompts.

Austin was outstanding from start to finish. What could have been a frustrating situation—tracking down a replacement glass piece for a broken fixture—was handled with ease and professionalism. He went above and beyond to locate the exact part, kept me informed throughout the process, and made sure everything was taken care of quickly and efficiently. It’s rare to come across that level of follow-through and care. Truly an awesome experience thanks to Austin.

I ordered 5 wall sconces. The selection was outstanding. The price was fair. Communication was stellar. Lights were shipped quickly and nicely packed.

This site is a scam ,typical bait and switch. Said they had open box product in stock gave me the runaround for over a week refunded me my money and never called me to explain what happened. Then they decided to email me saying that
I can have 25% off a new one, which was nowhere close to the open box price. Luckily I got my money back because this site is not real.

My experience was made great by my wonderful saleswoman, Wendy Pellegrino, who took the time to listen, help me identify fixtures for my home, and advise on the bulbs. Wendy is the best!

I recently ordered two items from the company after a lot of research. Capitol has an extensive, well-priced selection, but it's their customer service that is really amazing. I reached out twice, once for an order status and once for broken merchandise, and both times I was connected immediately with very friendly and competent customer service reps who resolved the matters easily and quickly. Ray was amazing. First, the phone was answered, right away, by a person! This does not happen anymore and I can’t tell you how much I appreciated it, I definitely would have hung up if I got stuck in an AI loop. I wanted two types of wall sconces, and he was able to find them for me, get me a great price, and complete my order. All in about 5 minutes, smooth as can be. I have not yet seen them in my space - I’m sure I will love them, but their returns policy, 90 days, is what got me to call them in the first place. Now that I have, I will definitely get all my lighting through them. It’s nice to see companies that really prioritize the customer’s needs and experience, with great service, returns policy, and great prices.
