Ana Karen is a fantastic representative for Spaces and makes the experience top notch.

Only issue was with wonky online booking.

On-site staff were fantastic - very professional and supportive. Conference room has an amazing view of the SF Bay and Marin/Mt. Tam in the background. Only criticism is the online booking process. Difficult to navigate and select appropriate times. I guess it was good that it requires confirmation by on-site staff before finalizing the booking because staff caught the issues and were able to correct them.

Spaces is a professional, organized and well-thought out co-working space. I'm always pleased to work there and find the staff to be very helpful. I can get so much done at Spaces being surrounded by others. To top it off the view at the Emeryville office is beautiful; there is a view of the Bay that is fabulous!

Title: Frustrated and Stuck with Overcharges and Ineffective Management

Review:
We've been renting a unit from Spaces since February last year and had no billing problems until we decided to move to a bigger unit in February 2024. Upon moving into the new office, we agreed on a rate of $1200, which was not reflected in their billing system. Since February, my account has been consistently overcharged despite numerous complaints to the on-site manager.

From April to June alone, we had 8 transactions between my company and Spaces, most of which were incorrect. Despite repeatedly informing the manager over the past three months, no concrete action has been taken to rectify the billing issues. Instead, I am continuously being overcharged, and the new lease even came with the wrong dates.

As a business owner, I find it incredibly frustrating to deal with these recurring issues. I should be focusing on running my business, not managing billing errors. The lack of accountability and responsiveness from the management is disappointing. There seems to be no one to report these issues to except the on-site manager, who is not taking any action. Or maybe she does, but the billing department doesn't care.

If you are considering this co-working space, be prepared for potential billing nightmares and a lack of effective resolution. I feel stuck and incredibly dissatisfied with the service.

Pros: The location in Emeryville has access to awesome ocean view. Trails are just nearby, so you can enjoy a good hiking anytime. Staff is friendly and helpful.
Cons: There's limited amount of restaurant option, so you either bring your own food or order delivery. The coffee machine is only available on the reception floor (7th) not on the 6th.
